Thank You!
Thank you Fay for taking the photo of James A. Huskey's headstone for me. I think it absolutely great that you take your young children with you! What a wonderful way of teaching them young to give to others.

Faye, if you go there for some other reason that would be great. Otherwise, the existing picture is fine. Thanks again.

Pj Shields-Patty
While at James Shields Find A Grave page I noticed your comment that you descended from James thru his son Robert. I too am from that same branch, and have been researching all leads for over 3 decades concerning his ancestry. I notice you maintain Blaine Shields site as well. It has been quite a few years since I have been to Ruffner's Cemetery, but there are quite a few Shields buried there. I've never taken pictures of the headstones, and would have to retrace my steps to find quite a few of them. I am glad that you have memorialized those who are part of our joint family.
Thank you, distant cousin!

Cody Shields
Hello. James Shields is also my Great great great great grandfather. Earlier today, I went out and took photos of all six fathers leading back to James. At least I tried. I cannot find Robert's, though I found Jane's, his widow. I would be eager to correspond with you and Marla to see what you both know.

RE: Thank you for trying
You are welcome Faye. Alot of the stones are old and some of them have the stone "Unknown" on them so it is known only to God who they are.
