Seneca City Cemetery or Roots Cemetery?
Is Seneca City Cemetery the same as Roots cemetery? I have obits of my relatives that say one but pictures of the headstones found in the other. I know that Find A Grave has both cemeteries.

RE: Hazel Snapp Neely
I went looking in my tree and did find Hazel and Raymond Neely. Hazel is my 7th cousin. I have information on birth death and residence. Are you looking for anything special? I was trolling death certificates and noticed Blanche Neely had signed Joseph Slavens death cert as registrar. I wonder any connection?

Benford Parks
Marcina,

I went to Restlawn Cemetery to take a photo of Benford Parks gravesite. The gravesite location is F-14-28-4.

Regrettfully there is no headstone for Benford.

George North
Thanks so much for finding the grave of George North. Gives me a clue to the other graves that are there....i.e. 'Mother North'. I think this is his mother and I need to try to find more information on her. Thanks again for helping me!! M Kershner

Merf
Glen Haven, Winter Park, FL
I'm sending you this message because I see you have a photo request for Glen Haven in Winter Park. This cemetery refuses to provide a plot location, citing "invasion of privacy" and requires a notarized letter from the family to provide information which is usually freely given upon request by every other cemetery I've been to. This is SO frustrating for photo volunteers, and those simply requesting a photo of a grave.

I just sent an email to the Florida Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association in Tallahassee to complain about Glen Haven's refusal to provide plot locations, and how they treat volunteers. Perhaps something can be done if enough people complain.

Their website is ffda.org and the email address I sent it to is: DJessup@executiveoffice.org

RE: Britt
Yes, I would be happy to maintain Wm and Andelusia Britt. They are the only two there that are any relation of mine. There son, Wm L. G., was my great grandfather and worked for Mr. Root at the time his father died. I used to get over every year when my grandmother was still living, but not as diligent any more.

Thankyou,
Kevin

You're very welcome!! I was visiting Elkins for the first time in many years and went to see my grandparents grave (Chenoweths). While there, I just starting taking pictures of many of the graves and was later thrilled to find this website. I wanted to share them with those who may be interested.

RE: Neely
Sorry, I am not related to any Neely's that I know of. I do have a number of people buried at Lancaster that are close relatives. Many others are those who I remember my parents and grandparents talking about. I have now taken pictures of all tombstones there, that I could find. However, the great majority are already on line, so I am just deleting those that would be duplicates.

RE: Lane
Marcina -- photos being sent in separate email. You should be able to read the markers on either side of Flora Mae's grave (Abbie Lane on the left and Thirza Lane on the right). Cemetery records indicate that Flora Mae's grave does not have a marker. Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
Blessings, Ken Gardner
