I have just found the Green W. Howell that you mentioned. I can't tell if this would be Thomas Crayton's father or son. Does the stone look too new to be the father, b. 1802 d. 1850? Exactly what is the writing on the stone? Oh goodness, these folks didn't realized how difficult it was going to be for us, did they? :o)
