|Gean Jenkins-Dunbar (Bryant Grandchild||RE: Wm Mackinzie Jenkins|
Sure he is my great grandfather. My daughter and granddaughter are named Mackenzie after he and the family surname he was named after.
What is your connection to Mack?
He and Gram Ethel raised my dad from age 11 up.
Love to share info and photo's with others interested in family history.

Yes, relatives include Cooley and Peterson. Before Indiana migration, these and others were tied to Chilicothe/Ross Co Ohio. Before that tied to Petersburg, VA. (Predates there being a West VA)

Did Allen Bivins ever get back with you? I sure would like to help, but I'm hitting a brick wall too. I heard the same thing about Mr. Bivins, that he left his family in Indiana and moved to the west. I believe we are on the right trail, but difficult. I found the Nathan and Lucy Bivins family living in Owen...then later he is married? again??? Not sure.

|Diana Davis-Marshall||Nathaniel Bivens|
I saw your response to the fellow that listed Nathaniel Bivens at Leavenworth.
My grgrgrandfather (John Cole, a widower) married Eliza J Bivens, Nathans daughter. Matilda was her sister. I think we need to exchange info. (I don't have a lot, but willing to share). Although my family originated from his first marriage, my gr.grandfather was fond of his 1/2 siblings(Oma and Bertha).
Children of Nathan and Lucy Bivens were: Wm. R, Noah, John H, Eliza J, Adam, Eli, Isaac, Matilda, Albert, and George (I think that's all)...Nathans wife would be Lucy. If this sounds right, I'd enjoy connecting.

There is a Perry McKee who advertized good mixed hay for sale in the Hillsboro Press Gazette, March 2, 1943. at a town called "Hoaglands". Rt. two , Hillsboro, Ohio.
There is a social page stating that William McKee is stationed in New Guinea, and that he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry McKee. Dated June 4, 1944.
And an obituary of Charles McKee that states he was a son of Robert McKee in Wilmington, Ohio. Dated March 25, 1948.
It looks as if throwing names in the ring just doesn't work. You really have to have dates.

Hi There, I do not recognize any Smith names you give. I just added a few of the names I am researching, maybe that will give you a hint if any of them fit your Smith line.

|Alan Brian Bivins||RE: Nathaniel Bivens|
I assume you see the Birth and Death dates of my Nathaniel on Find A Grave. Does this correspond with your records? I know quite a bit about my Nathaniel. I have his Civil War records. And his pension application years later verify his marriage to Amanda Mooney and death at the Old Soldiers Home at Leavenworth KS. They moved to SE Kansas after the Civil War with their son Mark Anthony. I havent looked into it in a few years but I recall finding another Nathaniel in the Indiana Census the same age and name as my Nathaniel, except with a different wife and children. Do you think he could have had 2 families? Ive always wondered about this. If you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I can send you some photos and additional info.

No, I am not related to the Rentschler's. I was just asked to add several names to this cemetery by the Historical Society.
