There is no headstone for Christen Nielsen nor any sign of there ever being one. However, I took a pic of the area where he would have been buried with surrounding area. If you would like me to post that I will.....just let me know.
Sorry -- Becky

I am happy to report to you I have found the headstone I think u seek.
Evergreen Hill Cemetery is a older cemetery. Located near a creek, but high on a hill. This Cemetery is well taken care of, however I have found that alot of the stones have alot of moss growning on them, or are very worn. With this is mind.
I can say I found your stone.
It says Ruth Dodge wife of Parker Dodge who died June 19, 1823 aged 20years.
This headstone is cracked and was alone, there was a space and then another old headstone in bad condition which is unreadable due to moss growth. However the name says Hyrus Dodge.
After walking the cemetery, I did find a large headstone surname Dodge with 7 more graves. This is located in the section between 2nd & 3rd driveway. Towards the front of section.
Not sure if this is anything. The large stone is very worn and unreadable. At one time was a beautiful stone. I can only give you names, there are no dates.
Mother, next The fancy headstone, followed by these. Mary, Abbison, Gassius, Bruce, Carrie, Mother.
I hope this helps you.

|DONNA EGBERT||Rulon Bowen Photo|
I go to the Grace Cemetery 2-3 times a year. Next time I go, I will take this photo for you. Rulon was actually the father of my Aunt Anna who divorced my Uncle several years ago. They had two girls, Pam and Paula who are also both buried in the Grace Cemetery.

You are welcome. Mel was a special person. I considered him a grandpa to me. He lived just across the street from me when I was growing up. I kind of remember Irene but I do remember Fern.

I can't find anything about her being buried in the Ben Lomond cemetery. Any more information would be great, what was her last name at her time of death. I will keep looking. Daniel Drake one of her husbands is buried in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch in Ogden.

I'm glad you liked the pictures. Mrs. Dunham, another senior resident of Green River, spoke very highly of Verla and Norman as she helped me photograph the headstone. If you need anything else, just let me know. I think that the Dunham family will become volunteers to help get the rest of the Elgin Cemetery memorialized.
