RE: My Aunt Verlyn
Oh I'm so glad you found it!

I worked in CSU's football office (as a student) before "Coach Sark" came into the program...and I was there when he came to the University.

"Coach Sark" was a very nice and well-respected man and I enjoyed working in the football office until I graduated.

I got curious after the announcement of "Coach Sark's" passing yesterday...and then found your grandmother's memories. I wasn't aware that he remarried after Verlyn passed, but remembered her as his wife and mother of his children. I guessed there might have been some glitch with the location of her grave because your other Find A Grave memorials were so extensive...hence my note to you. Your grandmother's notes were so fascinating! How wonderful to have her memories so well-documented!

My sincerest condolences to you on "Coach Sark's" and your Aunt Verlyn's passing. ~~~Twig

Pilgrims Patriots Pioneers
RE: Albert & Virgie Armstrong
No problem. You already have some of the Armstrong family under management. If you don't want these, that's fine.

Thank you so much for posting this information, the info from the newspaper was new to me. Florence would have grown up to be my great aunt and it feels like it's honoring her short life to have this record. Appreciatively, Janet

I can understand the confusion. I assembled history for her, she is my great-great grandmother. She went by different names and name changes, all of them similar. Headstone death date is 31 Jul 1911 but on this memorial is Aug 1.
The real problem is there are two Find A Grave memorials for the same person, likely due to her name. The other memorial # 68284546 for Ane Marie Hansdatter Peterson, added by Juni in 2011, two years after yours. Maybe there is a reason for the two memorials by different names, but they are the same person, my gggrandmother, 2nd wife of Andrew Peterson (once Anders P.). What should happen, leave two or combine? There were duplicates for her husband, but believe are now combined.

I have added the headstone picture to your memorial. Would you please add Jr. - that is the way that it was listed in the cemetery records.

Either way. But you will have to put his memorial in the correct cemetery. If it's easier to have me put the pic in yours - then let me know.

Leila Metcalf
Hi VaunaMri,

I think, it should be noted in Leila's memorial who her Mother was(Violet Isabella JACK, B:1878-D:1955), and before "Leila" was married to Mr. Duncan, she was once married(Her 1st, as well as my father's) to my father Roy H. Toothman, in Clark County, Washington; on Jan 17, 1924(no known children, by either, that I know of). Leila, divorced my father on Oct 28, 1932, in Portland, Oregon.
