Re: Francis Joseph "Joe" Shea
Congratulations! I've been a find a grave member for over 3 years, and very careful about not creating duplicates. You're the first person to discover one, so of course I deleted it. Send me an email, and I will provide details on how we may be related, if only through a marriage.

RE: Alfred Miller
I am more than happy to update the information on memorials, but please send edit requests through the edit key located at the upper right of the memorial as opposed to sending me a message. It's much easier to make changes that way. It's also less likely for me to make a mistake that way.

Some of the memorials you sent me information about are managed by someone else. I cannot update them. Use the edit key to send the information to the person who maintains the memorial.

Albert Miller's DOB most likely came from the SSDI (Social Security Death Index). Since I manage over 20,000 memorials, I'm not likely to remember whether the information came from my research or another contributor.

I'll be watching for your edit requests. I usually process requests within a few days.

Good luck with your research.

RE: Hoeft Tombstone Repair
Thank you so much for adding the photos and taking the time to share the information with me.

I rearranged the photo order so that the newer photos appear first on Michael's and Christian's memorials. I also added something on their bios explaining about the repair work you did in 2005.

I fixed the year of birth on Christian's marker that I had wrong and updated some of the information on the memorials based on further research. I attempted to link members of the Hoft/Hoeft family in some of the cemeteries in the Princeton area. Do you happen to know if Michael Hoft was the son of Christian and Julia?

Please look over the memorials to see if I have the information correct. If you have any additional information, please let me know.

Thanks again for adding the photos. They are fascinating!

Your Mom's memorial
Jenn,

I am very happy to transfer your Mom's memorial to you. And all ready did.

I am happy to see your on find a grave. I am not sure if you remember meeting my Mom at your Mom's memorial service. Pat Collins-Kamlager. Our grandfathers were childhood friends. My Grandpa was Michael Collins. I also have your grandparents on Find A Grave too (Joe and Gerry Shea) I have been working on old family friends and neighbors. I have a virtual cemetery for them. I remember your grandpa Joe very well. After your Grandma died she started to take my Great Aunt Elizabeth to church and they would come visit my Mom. Your grandparents and mine are not buried far from each other. And the Carroll's too.

Best regards, Justine

Jennifer,
Thank you so much, I'm sorry that it's been such a long time. I've been very busy with family. I want to be sure you get credit for finding the graves for me. I hope that you did. I'm not sure exactly how to do that, but I will check it out.
Thank you again.
Debbie

RE: Raymond Hearyman
Jennifer,

I just submitted a request for Raymond's picture and wanted to let you know I put together a page for him but I do not have his birth or death year. It is somewhere in my box of things to keep but I can't locate it at this time. Please feel free to add to the page if you are able to do so. I just wanted to let you know that I added the page because I read where there are 51 people available to take pictures. I wanted to let you know quickly since you offered to do it first.

Thank you again so much...Debbie

Thank you so much, I guess N. Alpine is now considered Machesney. I left Rockford in 1984 and have been back twice since then but it has been 10 years since my last trip. I hear it has changed much. I would also like to have a picture of Raymond's grave site as well. Should I go back into Find A Grave and request it or do you add from this message? Thank you so much.

Margaret Hearyman
Hello Jennifer,

Thank you very much for adding the picture and info of Margaret Hearyman. Margaret and her husband Raymond were my parent's best friends. I noticed where Sunset Memorial Gardens has the address of Machesney Park is their cemetery the one on Alpine Road in Rockford or is it the one in Loves Park/Machesney Park, Illinois. Sunset Memorial has several cemeteries. Thank you again Jennifer.
