RE: Lamb transfer
Thank you for this memorial transfer. I will take good care of it, and as I said..if a family member ever requests to have it transferred, I will make sure it does.

I added a better photo of her stone, hope it is OK, We went to the reunion several years back, took the photo before the mold covered it.

I wanted to ask if you might transfer Vickie Nuckolls memorial over to me. She is my sister-in-law.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: My GGrandfather Newton Davis
Thanks so much for the info on Newton's wives. I think it threw me off to see Birdie listed as Agnes's daughter.

Also thanks for helping me to place where Ida and Leota fit into our family puzzle.

You said that your mother came to one of the Horsley reunions. They still have them. They have them every 3 years now instead of every year. They just had one this past summer in the eastern part of the state. The next one will be in the Northern Black Hills in 2016. Do you remember the year that your mother came to the reunion?

RE: My GGrandfather Newton Davis
It was Leota that sent the package of photos and stuff to my father-in-law. Most of the contents were photos of our own family as she thought some of our family members would like them. Also there was a poor xerox copy of a bio interview that Katie (Davis) Horsley did while in the nursing home. It is a charming retelling of her life but some of it is missing.

So who does Ida belong to? George, Ernest, William?

I also wanted to you ask you about Newton's wives - Agnes and Catherine. Did Agnes and Newton divorce? And why isn't Catherine mentioned in the bio on her father, William Passmore?

RE: My GGrandfather Newton Davis
Hello -

James's daughter, Katie, married Emery Horsley. He was a brother to my husband's grandfather. They are from Wessington Springs, SD. The Horsley family is a pretty amazing family -- very close. They keep in touch with cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins...

I had just read a little bio on Katie so I did a little sideways search on her family. One of her relatives had given my father-in-law some old photos and things that her mother had. The mother's name was Ida Thomas. Is she related to you?

RE: Ollie & William Wren
Hi Kathy,

Thank you - they are not my family. I am helping a friend that does not have a computer and doesn't plan on getting one. I think it is best that you keep management of their memorials.

RE: Ellis family
Yes, I am related to the Ellis Family. I hate to trouble you, I am just trying to link the family members together. If it would be easier for you to transfer them to me, that would be fine.

I am in the process of locating a few more relatives, that way I won't have to bother you with linking anyone else.

The relatives I have found under your name at Westlawn are:

Elizabeth Ellis Ashlock (my mother) #3383597
Atlas W Ellis (my great-grandfather) #57455247
Donald E Ellis (my great-uncle) #57455186
Mollie A Foster Ellis (my great-grandmother) #57455219
Cecil "Butch" Ashlock (my father) #33835672

Thanks so much!

My family
Wow, I was excited to see the listings for my Great Grandparents Matt and Lizzie Arnold. I noticed you had a picture of her grave. Do you have any info on this family?

RE: Re. Larry Stivers
Then you know my cousins better than I do.

I have never met my Stiver cousins. Larry is descended from my grand aunt Edna Alberta (Hamman) Allen who was a sister to my grandmother. My grandmother stayed in Western Oklahoma when the Hamman family moved to Cushing Ok in 1913. His uncle Bill Allen is one of the two members of his family Allen that I have ever exchanged emails with about 12 years ago but have not yet met any of my Allen cousins.

Absolutely! I would love any and all info and Obits you could find. My mother never talked about this part of her family and I know very little.

Biggs Family
My Maternal Grandmother Faye did a lot of research on the Biggs family at least a score ago. Hopefully, her documentation wasn't distroyed Christmas 2002. Also, Eddie Warren has done some work on the Biggs family. Access his contributor page via Mama Faye's page.

RE: Missouria Bryan
Thank you for the transfer, K. Brison.

As far as the Davis side goes, I've been able to verify the parents of Frank & Doxie Davis through their MO death certificates. So, I'm searching for Samuel & Mary (Seaman) DAVIS. His parents are suppose to be Edward Osterhout [1804-UnK] & Sara Ann (LEGG) DAVIS [Oct1805-10Nov1889]. This was as far back as the oral tradition of my grandfather was able to recite.
