RE: Amanda McClure - Lewisburg Cem
Alexander and family are buried very close to Jean Sage McClure. Amanda and family are in a different part of the cemetery.

Yes I live in Lewisburg. Let me know if I can find more people for you. There are more McClures buried with Amanda. I posted a photo last evening of one of them--Richard McClure who died in 1889.

RE: Brooks Burials
Hello Marcia....I added the Brooks photos to their memorials...I also have a photo of the Lillian Dyer side of the headstone if and when you need it..If you want to create a Memorial for her I will be happy to add the photo...I will place a call to the Cemetery as soon as I can and try to see if the burial card has some info that Frederick and Elizabeth Brooks were actually buried in the plot ( #1513 Old Sect.)...When I requested their burial location not only did they have a record of the names but gave me that Plot and Section, so maybe I can get a copy of the burial card for you.

Brooks Burials
Hello Marcia and a belated Merry Christmas, I asked the Mt Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy, Ma to identify the burial location of Frederick and Elizabeth Brooks, which seemingly they did. However the plot and section they have / gave me was for a BROOKS but the names you requested were not part of the Headstone or either of the 2 ground markers...which were for a William A. 1903-1974 and Alice G. 1906-1974. Also a William A. Brooks Jr " BUDDY " 1926-2009 who has a WW II Veterans marker as he was a Navy Vet. The Headstone itself is engraved with the Family names of BROOKS , HORTON and LYONS on one side and the Family name of DYER ( Lillian R. 1904-1921) on the opposite side....Are any of these other names of any importance to you and is it possible that Frederick and Elizabeth were buried here but no engraving or marker ?.....If you need to, you can call the Cemetery Office yourself or I will be happy to do it for you and see why their records gave this plot and section for them ( Plot is in the Old Section # 1513 )...I did take several photos so they are available to you if you want them and I can certainly make them part of any Memorial for you....All the best for a Happy and Healthy New Year, Ed McDonough

Glad I could find them. Was out Saturday with Audrey Lerew and we were able to get a few of the requests from Prospect Hill. It is very large and many stones are unreadable.

Thank you!
Many thanks for finding the memorial for my Great-Uncle Gerald. My grandfather loved his little brother so much. Even in the last years of his life, almost seventy years later, he felt his loss deeply. I wish I could have shown him his brother's memorial. Thanks again- it means a lot to us. I'll share this with my family and Uncle Gerald won't be forgotten.

Thank you for the photos and the explanation for the lack of grass. Very glad that the caretakers take their job seriously.

Jane McClure 94270265 pic request
Believe I've found this marker that you wanted a photo of. However, earlier you'd provided the DOD for Jane as 9.27.1836 and the stone has 1826. The stone's in bad shape, but you can make out part of the DOD, __PT the 27th, and also part of the age, 2_ years. Let me know if this is the correct stone and I'll post the photo. Thanks.

Lebanon Presbyterian Cemetery

I stopped by Lebanon Presbyterian Cemetery yesterday in search of some ancestors. While I found none of them I saw many McClures which I will start to post as I have time the next couple days.

RE: McClure Photos from Old Cemetery, Carlisle, PA
I will pass on the thanks to my son who did a terrific job of cleaning off the stones - they had a lot of overgrown grass and dirt, to the point that the inscriptions were barely legible. We spent a great few hours at the cemetery that day! Glad to help you out and to be able to make the stones more visible to others.

Marcia, could you please check my entry at Canadochly. Henry, d. 1863 & Mary, d. 1853 Leber had Annie M on their stone and I entered her as a daughter, 1848-1918. If this is not correct, please let me know so I can disconnect them, thanks, sheila

Frederick Wolf's headstone
Hi Marcia,
I will go up to Mt. Olive Cemetery tomorrow and see if I can get a good photo of headstone. I am taking picture of one on Find A Grave for reference. Easier to locate that way! I counted 51 persons in Mt. Olive by the name of Wolf (and Wolfe) buried there. Do you need anybody else while I am there?

Lydia Snyder
The memorial you created is a duplicate she already had one as Lydia F Snyder. I already added photos to that memorial when I posted the photos for Ross. Rob, the contributor who created the page several years ago is good at making the changes you need.

The request you added was claimed by another member so I can't add photos to the new memorial. If you remove the new request and just send an email I can add them then.
