|Bill VanStone||Your FindAG request|
I know you've had requests out there for Acacia Cemetery in Niagara County, NY for a while. Acacia can be a bit stingy with their information and they don't really support FindAG. So, many of us have been out there so often that much of it is just dumb luck if we run across someone. I would suggest you give them a call directly. State your relationship to the individuals you're searching for. Generally, that will work, but be sure NOT to mention FindAG, just that you're looking for a friend or relative. If you could get that into – Section, Plot #, etc., I'm well acquainted with the cemetery and I'll attempt to find your individual. I'm only about 5 minutes from that cemetery.

|Diggin' Up Bonz||Sarah Benjamin Merrill|
Sarah Benjamin Merrill was my 3rd great grandmother. She first married a Franklin, but later married a Richards. Their daughter was Susan Rebecca Richards. Susan married James Canty Walding and they had a daughter Annie Lee Walding. Annie married Robert E. Lee and they had a daughter Annie Estelle Lee. Annie Estelle married Willie Lowell Barr. They had a daughter Annie Laura Barr who married Willie Hubert Whitman who are my parents. As you know Sarah Benjamin is buried near her father Jacob Merrill at Leon cemetery in Crenshaw County.

I would love to help you. Acacia doesn't participate with Find A Grave or it's volunteers. They know who we are that take the pictures. If you could call them at
(716)692-0511 and tell them who your relative is and get the section,plot# and if there is a headstone. DO NOT mention Find A Grave. You can email the info and I will claim your request. I usually fulfill them within a few days of claiming. Look forward to helping you.

|Chris Skelly||Elias Merrill|
I saw that there was a problem with getting a photo of this marker. I checked the book for this cemetery and there are no Merrills there. However, there is a E.B. Merrill (brother of Jake) buried at Providence Cemetery in Franklin County, which is not far from Mt. Vernon. The years are the same on the records.

|Ronnie Dale Howton||A Thank You|
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for taking the picture of Matthew Howton's grave stone. I live so far away and it would be almost impossible for me to have done that. I am printing out a Howton family history book this coming year and that piece was missing and now I have it all because of you. On behalf of the Howton family, We Than You and I Thank You! There is a lot of history in our family and have spent a long time researching and pulling records. If it wasn't for you, our family would not have this vital picture which was so desperately needed. Thank You again and you are doing great work and it is very appriciated.
