RE: Martin Beavers
You're very welcome! My sister and I spent a few days down there researching our family history. So many gravestones -- so little time.

Eliza Burks
Good Evening,

I recently photographed the Lentz Cemetery in Woodland Iowa. I noticed you had a photo request for Eliza Burks. I photographed and uploaded all photos for stones that were even partially readable. I believe Eliza's stone will probably never be identified. I even photographed ones that I could read partial dates to match up. But I have nothing on Eliza. Sorry.

You are very welcome. There were several Coontz graves in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Commercial Point Ohio. I visited the Beckett Cemetery in Commercial Point today and noticed that there are a Couple of Coontz graves there also. Jesse Coontz 1885-1972 and Alma 1911-19? Are these part of your Coontz's also? I did snap a photo but have not posted it yet.

Thelma Embertson
According to Minnesota Death Index she did die an Embertson so I have to leave that name on her.

Thelma Embertson
Thelma Loretta Westad married Oliver Lokken Nov. 14, 1929 Courthouse Book 1 Line 239.
I don't know the first name of Embertson or where they got married. I don't know where I got the information. Should I remove her Embertson name?

I am glad that you are so thrilled. It was my pleasure. I'm only sorry that I couldn't get the pictures to you sooner. Please let me know if you need any other pictures taken of stones in the Virginia Shenandoah Valley area especially now that I've moved and am settled. Take care!

RE: beaver creek church
Hi. Today I finally visited Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren cemetery. Luckily, a Mr. Simmons was inside the vacuuming church. He suggested I contact a Mr. Miller and gave his phone number. I called Mr. Miller who met me at the cemetery within ten minutes! He helped me locate Catharine Carrier's gravestone (Find A Grave Memorial# 66108219), which I think is in marvelous condition. To her left is buried her son, James N. Carrier (Find A Grave Memorial# 66109178). I'm sorry it took me so long, but I'm finally settled in with the move. I really enjoyed going out there and meeting more people and finding the gravestones of your ancestors. Take care.

I haven't forgotten you. I went to the cemetery about 9 months ago and couldn't find your ancestor, Catherine Carrier. I found a listing of burials on the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society and see that she is buried in Row 27.

I am moving to the Valley in January and will live about 18 miles away from the cemetery. I will go by there sometime in February and get a picture for you.

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you. I found the cemetery interred listing on the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society cemetery index website. I hope to stop by the cemetery within the next few months.

I will be visiting the Harrisonburg area next weekend. I don't know if I will get a chance to stop by the cemetery, but if I do, I will be glad to take a picture for you.

I will be visiting the area a lot this summer, so I'm sure I will be able to stop by there in a couple of months.
