John Morgan "Jack" Price
Find A Grave Memorial# 126087986

Thank you for the information.

FYI - there are several contributors, including me, who are doing work on the USMA virtual cemetery. There is a volunteer who has taken over 2,000 photos; a USMA post cemetery employee who is ordering new stones as needed - for instance one graduate had the wrong graduation year on his stone, etc.

If you have any further corrections please let me know.

Hi,
I recently sent an edit regarding John Cornman, and saw that you denied it, saying it was "fraudulent." Could you explain please?

In the Illinois Death and Stillbirth records they have her birth year wrong.

Name: Florence Viola Mossbarger
Birth Date: 30 Nov 1912 <--should be 1902
Birth Place: Illinois
Death Date: 20 Jan 1921
Death Place: Donnellson, Montgomery, Illinois
Burial Date: 21 Jan 1921
Burial Place: ..., Ill
Cemetery Name: Elmwood Cemetery
Death Age: 18
Occupation: Housewife
Race: White
Marital Status: M
Gender: Female
Father Name: J. W. Owens
Father Birth Place: Tennessee
Mother Name: Martha Bell
Mother Birth Place: Illinois
FHL Film Number: 1570360

There is a memorial for her at Elmwood Cemetery

RE: Florena Owens
It could be that her stone was broken or not readable. I found lots of Owens. Maybe she is buried close to relatives..

RE: Masons and Brandts
Hi Gerry,
It's nice to hear from you again. I just checked my Brandt picture folder and was reminded it was you who sent the pictures of Hille church in Germany. Thank you again. I kept a copy of our correspondence from then too---as of yet, I haven't ordered the church film records.
It seems like a small world to hear that you also have a connection to the Mason family. My grandparents were close friends with Genevie and Evelee Mason and my parents still keep in contact with Evelee and Rose. Genevie passed away this year. I was reading a book they co-wrote called "They Walked Together" in which they gave some family history, so decided to make some links, etc. Also added a couple of pictures which my grandparents had of Genevie and Evelee.

Thank You
A Big Thank You for applying the changes to the Lindner Memorials in the Faith Lutheran East Cemetery. All of your work here in Find A Grave is very much appreciated in helping everyone interested in finding their Ancestors. I have a couple more to identify within the Lindner Family and will do that when I work on them in Ancestry. Thanks again

Could the ownership of the Klintworths at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetary be transferred to my ownership? I am a grand niece and I would appreciate this very much.

RE: Photocopy of the Biography of John Bernhard Embich
No need to past them together, I'm a graphic designer and have the software to do it. The image of the document was on some sort of an images page that was linked from ancestry.com. The image was attributed to you, so I clicked the hyperlink that was attached to your name, made an account and asked away. My email is balexa20(at)gmail.com

Thanks again!

RE: Photocopy of the Biography of John Bernhard Embich
Gerry,

Thank you, I came to that document from an outside link and never saw the profile page. I appreciate the quick response. It would be great to have a scan of the photocopy. I am creating a book and a high resolution (300dpi) version of it would be perfect. I do appreciate your help in this matter.
Would you like my email address or how would you prefer to send it?

Regards,
Brad

Photocopy of the Biography of John Bernhard Embich
Gerry,

I have been researching my families history and John Embich is a direct ancestor of mine. I found your photocopy of his biography and was wondering where I might be able to find the original or a scan of it. I would love to be able to transcribe/translate it.

Thanks,
Brad

RE: Seymour Rogers Memorial
Gerry,
I read your response today. Are you a descendant of Seymour Sylvester Rogers? I'm a stickler for accuracy myself. The information that I have seen/heard indicates that Rogers and his second wife Addie Mason were only in the Liberal area for a brief time, roughly around 1888. Then it was said the couple moved to (her) native France and weren't heard from again. That hasn't been proven one way or another. Going forward, their whereabouts in the 1900 census was discovered and today I saw her death certificate at a Kiwanis club meeting, and he died six months later in 1913. Nothing has been said about the ca 1889-1900 time frame about their whereabouts.
I would enjoy further discussion about this. I have much more info to detail on this matter. Email me at geny128@hotmail.com

Bill Thayer
USMA grads
"Focus" is exactly the right word! Later graduates immediately go on my To-Do List as soon as there's any connection with anything else I have onsite (whether in Cullum or in any other item onsite. For example, Gen. MacArthur 4122 is inevitably on the list; Cullum 7694, 7964, 8808, 9590, 9674 are all on it because mentioned in the Introduction to Baumer's Not All Warriors; Cullum 5351 is mentioned as the son-in‑law of 2303, etc.

(Not sure you got my e‑mail. If you did, and replied without "Thayer" in the To: line, my server trashes it and it never even makes it to me — perils of all that spam out there.)

Best,
Bill

Wedemeyer family
Thank you; so they are, but I'm working "from the other end" as it were, giving priority to putting onsite 1) graduates of the Classes up to 1890, i.e., in Cullum's original edition; 2) those graduates mentioned on my site in some other connection. I just ran a hard disk search across the (4800+) pages of the American history part of my website and found no Wedemeyer — so these will have to wait!

Best,
Bill
