| RE: Cliftons The Porter Cemetery that I drove by yesterday was on private property. There was a sign Porter Cemetery RD. It was one lane, gravel, and 10 feet from a paved road there was a locked gate. Beyond the gate was a cow pasture. So there is absolutely no access to this small cemetery. We drove behind the farm and there was no access. Also, did not see any headstones from the road. So I guess there are a few graves on this farm in one of the valleys.Added by Liz Gooch on Apr 04, 2013 12:10 PM | |

| RE: Frye Farm Cemetery photos Thank you. A bunch of my husband's relatives are buried there. He is Gary Grove. Which one was your relative? The place is in real bad shape. We had to stand up some of the stones. It's on someone's farm in between a ravine and feed corn growing. The man renting the farm doesn't like anyone on the property so we went to another town to get a written letter from the owner of the property. The Ritterman feed and supply store. Gary Ritterman is the ownerof that and the property I was talking about. I'm giving you this info incase someone you know ever decides to go there.Added by Debbie Grove on Feb 24, 2013 8:37 AM | |

Also, the children Myrtle, Iollian & Clyde. I would also appreciate transferred. Dick knew all 3 of them. I knew Iollian. Myrtle was blind and Clyde was handicapped. | Rebecca Ford Dear Ms. Alvis,
I saw your photograph of Rebecca Ford Hannah. I am descended from her through her son, David Ford Hannah. In fact, I even have his bible, which has numerous pictures of him and his descendants and a newspaper clipping of Rebecca's obituary. Do you have any additional information on her?
Sincerely, Jim LiellAdded by James Liell on Jan 21, 2013 4:32 PM

| RE: Montgomerys You are welcome. I just had to make sure they were not the Montgomery family I thought they were. About the Ruse Family. I can only say that I am sure Clinton Co. records are wrong for the Marriage of John Dakin to Hannah Ruse, He married Minerva Graham, but if that was his second marriage, I can't find his first one. I am sure I went down the wrong path in my research because of that one bit of information.
Sorry it took so long for me to figure it out.Added by Gloria Kidder on Jan 21, 2013 11:07 AM

| Montgomery's in Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery Highland Co., Ohio Now, tell me again which Montgomery you wanted transfered to you and your relationship to him? Sorry it has taken me so long to research this family. I finally contacted my son-in-law's family members over Christmas visits, and, "while there seems to be some connection to the Ruse family"--- I don't believe we are connected to these Montgomerys. Ours are mainly in southern parts of Ohio---Portsmouth and Adams Co. and Kentucky.Added by Gloria Kidder on Jan 10, 2013 5:41 PM | |

| Steiner Hi Janet,
I am wondering how you are related to the Steiners. I am working with William's family to put all on. I have all of the pictures, but the Steiners are out of town. Winter has come and pictures are no longer possible to get until spring.
