RE: Thora M Woodhouse Heltzel
You are welcome very much.
I have a couple of area pictures that I took of the area around Thora's grave if you would like to see that. I can email them to you, or, I could add them to her page. If I added them to her page there would not be room on her page for anymore pictures, unless you "sponsored" her page I think they call it which you have to pay 5 dollars to do and it then allows you to put a lot more pictures onto a person's page; more than just 5 pictures.

Thora M Woodhouse Heltzel
I got pics per your request for Thora M Woodhouse Heltzel's gravesite.
Which one do you like best; the one on top, the one in the middle, or the one on bottom? I will delete the others.
The one on top is before I cleaned the surface of the stone.
The one in the middle is with the sun shining on it. The sun is so low this time of year that it does not get up high enough to get all of this stone into the sunshine hence the ragged looking shaded area from the grass.
The picture on bottom is after I cleaned the stone face and wet down the letters which makes them stand out a lot better because the water makes the letters darker looking. I also blocked the sun from the stone on that picture so there would not be the fuzzy looking shaded area on the stone like in the one in the middle.

John Ward 1626-1708
I didn't take the picture as I never have been to that cemetery nor east of New York state. I think I found pic somewhere online. I used a magnifying glass & stone says:

"Here lyes the body of John Ward decd 1 July 1708 in the 82d year of his age"

RE: Mary & Jane Ward
You may want to check with the Southborough Historical Society regarding the Unmarked Graves... I have referred often to their Website, but haven't contacting them with any questions. You could also chekc with the person who used those records to create the Unmarked Graves memorials. Thank you.

RE: william ward-memorial 127074677
William Ward, memorial # 127074677 was born 19 Nov, 1664 in Newton, to John and Hannah Jackson Ward, died 23 Jan, 1752, Newton. All records verified.
William Ward memorial # 78720528 was born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Mass on 27 May, 1680, to William Sr. and Hannah Ward, died 12 Jan., 1756.
His death record does say Deacon William Ward, but the headstone clearly says Capt. William Ward.
Appears the 2 William's were combined incorrectly.

Susquehanna Headstones
Joseph Darrow
Hello! This is in response to your request for a photo of the stone of Joseph Darrow supposedly buried in Old Forest Lake Cemetery, Forest Lake, Susquehanna County, PA. There are no Darrows in either of the 2 cemeteries known as Old Forest Lake (these would actually be Brown and Patch). There is ONE Darrow in Fair Hill Cemetery, just over the hill from Forest Lake and that is a John Darrow. UNLESS Joseph Darrow is one of a very few illegible stones near John Darrow (b. Dec 9 1763, d. July 4 1854, Veteran of the AR)

You are welcome. About a month ago I photographed the whole cemetery so I am adding them all slowly but surely. It has taken me longer to add about 2500 photos than it did to take them.

RE: Rachel relict of Gideon Willes
I took the photos of Rachel and Gideon's gravestones in am not sure if they were next to each other or in adjoining rows. She was 79 years old at she was born about 1762...she was the relict of Gideon...and so he died first...which matches the other Gideon. He was 62 years old at death and so was born about 1744...which would make their age difference about 18 years. Not unheard of but unsure. Did Gideon have a son also named Gideon?? Perhaps that is who Rachel married...not sure...sorry. Let me know if I should change the problem with doing this.

Ha! Nevermind. I found a photo of the DeClark family marker with MEM's footstone in the background. I'll post these three and you can tell me if they're the ones on your (former) memorial.

No trouble at all, but ... I find a photo of the group of stones, a photo of MEM's footstone ... do you remember what the third photo was?

De Clarke - Lone Fir Cemetery
Cheryl -

I am not sure why you didn't answer me or remove the duplicate memorials. I loaded Mary Ella in March and you put her in in September. You have also done this with Annie DeClarke if you look at their father and mother you can see how this messes with the family links. I am going to ask you again to remove yours - If you are related, ask and I do transfer.

Thank you Valerie

John De Clark in Rockland Cemetery
Hello. The cemetery office confirmed that John De Clark is buried with his daughter Sarah and her husband Levi (they weren't certain on which side) so I went back and photographed that general area and added the photo to his entry. I hope this helps! Take care, Julie.

John De Clark in Rockland Cemetery
Hello. The cemetery office said there is no headstone for John De Clark. However, he is buried in the same plot as Sarah De Clark Bell and Levi Bell, so I created entries for them thinking they may also be of interest to you. I can go back and take a larger photograph of the general area where John De Clark is buried if you would like. I am waiting to hear back if he is indeed next to Sarah and Levi. Take care, Julie.
