Elizebeth E. Nye Cook - Pine Island Cemetery Dartmouth Mass
I have photographed that entire cemetery, and stone for her does not exist. I have found her to be married to a Seth Hiller on August 31, 1881. Perhaps she is in that area.

Hi,
Much of the info you received from Charlotte is not all correct. spellings of dates and names etc. To be accurate, in one incident, in the directory to persons in new netherlands from 1613-1674 vol IV first shows he married after susanna du trieux maritje d/o of abraham pieterszen van deuren(Van Dusen) wid. of thomas janszen mingael. all of my sources are correct and this line of the wendell family has been members of several societies to prove lineage like the DAR and Holland Dames, Holland society in NYC.

Calin Coffinger-Avondale
Avondale Cemetery Book does not have a Calin, but has Colon Coffinger listed under SH 81. There is no Block (Section) listed and no Grave plot. But I will keep my eyes open when I go out.

Grave Digger

The ridiculousness of the new managers of this cemetery is appalling to say the least. I have many family members and friends in here. What I have done is take a section and just start shooting pictures...list them on findagrave and hopefully you will run across one of the requests. If not they are posted for future requests. My suggestion is just don't let any staff see you with a camera..which is not hard being you never see anyone out of the office and on the grounds anyway!! This is not a law...it is the management. Prior to this they would not look up people for you without an attitude. EVEN IF it WAS family or friends! Lazy controlling bunch. Sorry...thanks for letting me vent and have a great day.

Charles Hawk
Colleen, Thanks so much for the pictures. Charles was the youngest brother of my Great Grandmother, Bertha Haak Cooper. He was born about 1892 in New York state. He and Brother William Hawk, Father Christian Haak and twins Ida & Augusta moved to Hadley sometime between 1900a and 1906 when my Grandfather was born. He never meet his Uncles or Grandfsther. They may all be buried in the same cemetery. Thank you again. It is great to finely know where he rests. Kathleen

My Grandparents
Hi Colleen,
Thank you for the pictures of Papa and Grammas marker. If you can remember who requested the picture I would appreciate knowing. I have been in California for the last 35 years but Papa and Gramma raised me and I am curious to know who asked for the picture, maybe I can find a lost relative.
Thank you,
Bill Fogle

Hi Colleen, I'm transferring this couple back to you because I discovered I took my tree in the wrong direction. I'm not related after all (at least at this point!). Thank you for your generosity.

Appreciatively,

Lisa

Philena Nelson
I received a message from Find A Grave that there was a problem regarding a photo for Philena. Someone must have put a photo on her memorial and never let me know so that I could remove my request.
I want to thank you for taking the time to look for her marker and once you saw a photo had already been posted letting me know through Find A Grave.

Question
Thank you Colleen for transferring the Groesbeck memorials. I have a question. Do you know if there is an actual cemetery location for the Dutch Reformed Church in Albany, NY. I note that there are many photo requests for memorials for that cemetery, none of which have been taken. Have the internments for the cemetery been moved to Albany Rural? I'm just wondering before I attempt a trip to Albany to investigate. Thanks, again. -sswenson

Move Groesbecks
Hi Colleen,

I'm working my way through the Grosbeck line and ask if you would transfer memorials:

84357490 - Wilem CN Groesbeck

84487556 - Geertruy D. Schuyler Groesbeck

I can then add the missing information to these memorials.

Thank you in advance for all your help - sswenson
