Terry Rasberry
RE: Bessie Petway Halfacre
It was published in the Meridian Star. It was in a scrapbook of my late aunt. I will check on the date. My aunt wrote dates on some, but not all.

I went ahead and transferred their memorials to you. I only took the pix so I would remember where my family was across from. God bless.

Sandra Hall Smith
RE: Smiths in Binnsville
My notes from a discussion with a descendant of the Smith clan from Binnsville on Saturday says that there was a Simon Jack Smith who was a brother to Mac Roger (my late husband's grandfather), Paul, & Harvey. I'm trying to remember if he said that one brother died young.

Would the 'Aust' be Delilah Aust Smith who was married to Simon Smith (died 1916)? Thus where the name Simon Jack came from.

My late husband's brother is named Simon Jack Smith. I believe Simon is therefore a family name.

It appears that my late husband's family tree includes: Smith, Dudley, Payne, Aust, and Watt.
But, I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with my family tree!

Yes. These are the children buried in Binnsville: Paul B Smith, Mac Roger Smith, Harvey Smith, Simon Jack Smith, and Annie Ruth Smith Neel.

There are at least four more daughters but they are not buried in Binnsville. Not sure where.
