|Find AL Graves 2||Rock Spring Cemetery|
Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful photo you have posted for a cemetery photo of Rock Spring Cemetery, Washington Co., VA. Some of my Snodgrass family is buried there. I see from your bio that you are researching the Snodgrass line. We could be related?

Nice to meet you too! I wanted to thank you also for going to all the trouble to see that those pictures made it back to the family. That was very nice, and we really appreciate it.

|Sly||RE: Edith Schoonover|
Yes, James E. & Mary L. Andis, Benton County, Arkansas, are her parents. I don't really know anything about the Schoonover side. Edith was my Mom's aunt, but my mom was real young when Edith's husband died so she doesn't remember much. I wish I could help more.

I notice you have a lot of memorials in the Glade Spring Presbyterian cemetery (VA)
Are you in that area? I've been searching for someone in Glade Springs area. Byrd or Bird Byars who is listed in the 1880 census but can find nothing else about him/her.
my grandmother was from Glade Springs and I visited there many years ago.

I have made the links, as requested, on the Lowe Family in Emporia, Greenwood Cemetery. I also have a Lowe Family in Allen Cemetery that I knew--were they related to the Greenwood Cemetery Lowes? MayflowerPilgrim 332.

|Brenda & Pete||RE: Konig photos|
You are very welcome. I had to actually get permission from the church to go into the cemetery and take the photos. I had to give them my name, address, and phone number. I also had to let them know what day I was planning to go there. The stones in this cemetery are very old and most of them you cannnot read.

Hey Carol, glad I was able to help you find your ancestors, if there is anything I can do to help you further, let me know, there is a wonderful book in the library called 'High on a windy hill' that lists people buried in Washington County, published in 1960, this book also has been revised. There are other books like this one that have the graves published in other counties and they are also in the library, so I could check for names if your are interested.
