RE: Johnson infants memorials
I assume the other infant memorial you did not give the number to is for Randall Lee Johnson...I made the link to the one you listed and to Randall. Hope that is correct.

Hi Bobbye - I made the transfer of Gertrude Rudy Poston. I would be interested in any Rudy information, as that is directly in my husband's line. Thanks! Janet

Donna Ellison
T.C. Ellis
Hi,Bobbye!
I have searched for Thomas C. Ellis and have not found him on several cemetery lists (including Prairie Lea) in my area. I did find several Ellises in the Luling,Tx cem. list.
I also found a note that he spent some time in a state institution but I don't think he was there when he died. Do you know where his wife is buried?
I have not found her either.
Donna in Tx.

RE: Zelma McMurtry
Your husband and my friend, Mary Louise Smith Will, must be related. Zelma is her aunt. Albert Christopher Smith buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, TX is the son of Christopher and Frances Smith. That is Louise's father.

RE: Memorial Photos
You're more than welcome.

I will make a return trip out to the Bryan cemetery in a few weeks and see if I can find the makers for your other photo requests. Some of the markers are very hard to read or are only field stones with no markings. I definitely didn't want to send you any incorrect photos.

Have a wonderful day,
Shelia

Mary Ellis
Well Bobbye,
When I go back to Gonzales County I will look to see if I can match Mary's dates with any Mary in the cemetery if that is what it takes.

Tim

Just forward me the dates of the Mary in question and I will give it a look.

Hi and sorry for the late response. I dont get on Find A Grave much anymore. THank you for letting me know of my "typo" hehehe. I have corrected the listing. Since this person is a part of your family (no matter how distant), if you would like me to transfer it over to you, I would be more than happy to. :)

RE: Postons
Mrs. Poston
I would be glad to accept any help with looking for any Postons in my lineage. My Grandmothers brothers name was William Claud Poston. Other brothers and sisters were Eva Jewel, Maudie C., Hattie V., Bertie B. Ruby Helen and Lester Luther died when babies. Their parents were James Preston Poston and Lora A. Lee Poston. They were from the Jackson/Overton County areas in Tennessee.
Some other Postons I am looking for are:
William A. Poston, Jan. 7, 1839 died 1910 wife Winnie Cox Poston
David Crockett Poston born April 12, 1837 died March 10, 1915.
If you have any info on any of these, I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks so much
Chris Barlow

Good morning.

I received your photo request, but I am not familiar with the cemetary, and there is not a map that has the location. Could you give me a general location of the cemetary please?

Thanks.

RE: Richard Buckley
Bobbye,

I found Henrietta King's headstone indeed. Unfortunately I did not photo graph it. There are four graves in a row that had Poinsettia's on them but only Bobby and Henrietta had markers. I will when I get down that way again photograph the entire plot. It might be a month or two as it is about 70 miles from my home in New Braunfels. Anyway I am sorry but Neither Richard Sr. nor Richard Jr. had headstones.

Bobbye,

I found this about Absalom Ellis in Ancestry.com

Name: Absalom Ellis
Birth: 30 Mar 1805 - MO (Missouri)
Death: 10 Jan 1871 - Cost, Gonzales, TX (Texas)

Is this who you were looking for in Ellis Cemetery?

Ellis Cemetery
I never found Absalom at Ellis Cemetery. No headstone and texasgenweb/gonzales county records do not show him buried there. I will keep an eye out for him when I travel Gonzales county cemetery's. I will be happy to transfer those memorials to you.
