Probably same reason her death notice lists her as Abandoned instead of husband in prison.

I was posting a News account of her death and saw where you knew her name. I thought if you were kin you may of wanted to read it. It shows she was murdered.

Hi Jack,
Mamie's memorial is not one I entered. If you will send Ron Manley a correction request, he will be happy to add her middle name. He and I trade info all the time and he is great to work with.

You're very welcome. I just added photos for Mamie and Robert Pfrangle, if you are interested in them. They are right next to Willie and Paul.

RE: Blake/Broome photograph -Thank you.
Done. There are 3 more Broome's I have added to Memorial Park: A. Edward Broome, W. Ruth Broome, and Ava Pearl Broome-Turner. If they are kin, no matter how close, I will transfer those as well. Red

RE: Allison - Mary Elizabeth Broome and Lonzo
Your welcome. With the Section and plot locations it was an easy find.

About those London's. We could possibly be related. I have been working to understand the genealogy information mom had put together. My grandparents lived down the Sallisaw area. There are a lot of London's we can't find and I do remember a John Levi somewhere in the descendants list also, the name Broome looks familiar. I may be confused because just a couple of weeks ago I was contacted by someone looking for kin that connects with the London side. It is all too confusing and I have promised ever since to pay more attention and DOCUMENT those sort of things!!

Jack, She is buried close to the road, so no problem finding her. I adore the photo of her and wish that I could have known her. I enjoy learning about people like her and I never knew they were my neighbors.

RE: Wow - Thank you!
Your very welcome,
It happens that I have a great interest in genealogy. My brother fixed a mini bike and I have been test driving it for him. While on my route I decided to take pictures of all the cemetery residents to post for others that have the same love for finding where they come from.

I live very close to the 5 cemeteries and this happens to be one of them. If you have other requests I may be able to help you out. Just let me know.

I didn't expect a response so quickly and am very pleased that you were happy to get the photo.

Happy family hunting.

Hi Jack,

I believe we might be related. Ranzie Broome's mother was my great grandfather's sister. His name was Thomas Fortner.

Francis Heuck
You have a photo request for Francis Heuck (b.1836) listed in Rosehill Cemetery, Brookhaven, MS. I recently made my annual Christmas visit, and specifically looked for this grave on your family plot, whic happens to be directly across the path from my family plot. I regret to inform you that I did not find this marker on the lot. Perhaps, it has not survived the passage of time. Regardless, I wanted you to know that I tried to fill your request.
Your friend,
Caroline Passmore

Frances Chambers
Hi Jack,

I've been doing family genealogy research and Frances Chamber Riley is my 4th great grandmother on my father's side.

My research indicates that she was likely a full blooded Choctaw Indian. Can you corroborate this?

Many of the children of her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Broome registered as 1/4 Choctaw Indian during the Dawes Commision.
