re: Mabel Thigpen
#76081038
That is such a wonderful picture of Mabel Thomas Thigpen and her husband, Jesse. Could you add the picture to Mabel's memorial as well? No, not related ... like you ... just filling in the blanks. They are related to me through DISTANT relatives by marriage etc ... and was working on others and trying to link up some other family. It would be wonderful if you posted the portrait of the two of them on both. What a great picture! Thanks ... and God bless you for all you do for so many!

According to marker shown on his memorial the date of death is 29 June 1949 rather than posted on memorial 6 July 1949. I tried to put the date on the edit page for you.
Thanks for all you do in remembrance of all those gone before. You are A+ in my book. I really appreciate your hard work and efforts. They mean a lot to me.

Tinsley and extended families
Thank you so very much for your work and dedication to the cause of Find A Grave. You are indeed a great friend to all of us who seek our extended families. Find A Grave is one of the greatest tools for genealogists today, because of caring people like you who like to tie up loose ends.
Thank you again for all your help. I wonder if you would mind if I copy your photos for my personal ancestry and family treemaker files. I am trying so hard to leave a trail for my family and descendants to follow. My time is running out and I seem to take two steps forward and four back.
Again I say thanks to you and all of Find A Grave workers who give of their time and efforts and resources to help others.

Colleen
Indiana Taylor Family
I have been trying to fill-in some blanks with regards to my Taylor roots. I know I am related to the Taylors buried in Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville, Indiana, but do not know where to go from there. Martha LaPrudence (Mosier) Taylor is buried in Riverside and she was my great grandmother. Anything you may be able to help me with would be so appreciated.

Thank you,
Colleen 'Bledsoe' Marvel

Duckworths
Hi! Thanks for your kind offer to transfer. Unfortunately, we are the "photo" people of FindAGrave, rather than genealogists. We're up to some 23,000 photos in Find A Grave in some 25 Cemeteries!

The best person to transfer these to would be Lorraine Lambert (#47307083). She has family in the County, and is a very thorough researcher!

Here's the link to her profile page. You can send her a message, and she'll respond directly to you.

Thanks!

Nancy Ann Garren Duckworth
Hi! Took a look at the lady you tagged as her mother, Sarah Whitaker Lanning, and she does not have "Garren" in her name space. Is it possible she was married twice? Also, is it possible to have 2 daughters named Nancy? See
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=16457522

The Duckworth family is special to me. There were a dozen or so members whose graves were transferred from one cemetery to another (Blue Ridge Gardens). There are a bunch of "Unknowns" among them. Fascinating family!

Thx!

RE: Thomas Baxter Summey
Thank you for that. You certainly did not have to do that, but it was very nice of you to do it. If someone in my family who is closer related to Thomas than I am ever asks I will do as you did and transfer it again, to them.

Sincerely,

Kirk Goolsby

Dear Sir or madame,
Thomas Baxter Summey, for whom you created a page, was the younger brother of my great, great grandfather. I want to add links to his family members on Findagrave, but I am unable. How can I do this?

Hi. Thanks for responding. My mamaw's was the only one transferred to me. I have her information and plan on entering her children on it this weekend. I just didn't know about adding mymother to Joe's information...since I sent you that message, i have learned that the children have to be deceased before they are added! Sorry for the trouble!

Gen,
What can you tell me about Libby? My great grandfather's Brother died at Libby in 1863, was it the practice of the prison to bury the inmates at the prison?

Thanks for your help!

Joseph Duckworth Bryson
Hi. I was wondering if you could add my mother as one of Joe's children? She is the daughter of he and my mamaw, Lavada Jane Ashe Bryson. Her name is Wanda Jo Bryson Walter and was born 3/25/1951.
My mamaw and grandfather were married in 1950. Thanks very much.

RE: Ann Taylor Culley
Thanks for the confirmation. I am researching when Clover Hill cemetery was established. I saw a listing for a land transaction for a James Cully in Aug. 6, 1823. He purchased land from the United States.
