Father of Mary Taylor is William
TRURO-CAPE COD OR LAND MARKS AND SEA MARKS
BY SHEBNAH RICH
Pages 525 - 526
Dr. William of Barnstable, b. 1653.
Settled at Truro before the proprietors.
He m. 1686, Mary, dau of Wm. Taylor of B.
The house occupied by the late Capt. Ebenezer Atkins taken down within the last twenty years, was built by him. The gravestones from which we copy, are still in good condition in the Old North.
Here lies buried the body of
Dr. Wm. Dyer, aged about 85 years.
Died July ye 27th, 1738.
Here lies buried the body of Mrs.
Mary Dyer, wife to Dr. Wm. Dyer.
Died Oct. ye 8th, 1738,
aged about 80 years.
The old doctor had a knack of keeping in hot water with his neighbors, and like Tristam Shandy's father, had a spice in
his temper known by the name of perseverance in a good cause, and obstinacy in a bad one. I should do great injustice to a long line of descendants, justly proud of their ancestors,to deny them a like precious inheritance. His family all
married and settled around him, soon became among the largest and most influential in town ; a position maintained to this day.

Children:
i. Lydia, b. 1688.
ii. William Junisimus, b. 1690, m. Hannah,
iii. Jonathan, b. 1692, m. Phebe. 2d, Hannah,
iv. Henry, b. 1693, m. Anne,
v. Isabel, b. 1695, m- Samuel Small, 1713.
vi. Ebenezer, b. 1697, m. Sarah Doane of Eastham, 1720.
vii. Samuel, b. 1698. m. Mary Brown, he d. 1773.
viii. Judah b. 1701, m. Phebe Young, sons, Elijah, Judah.

Nevermind!! I think I figured it out. His name is Bradley Barlowe Wilson and his son was Bradley Barlow Wilson. He has a site already created. Maybe they can be linked so it shows the 7th son. Sorry for my mistake!

I came across this: http://yanceyfamilygenealogy.org/wilsons.htm
It looks like that Bradley Barlowe Wilson was one of the 7 sons of Bradley Wilson. You might want to change the burial to Bradley Wilson and make a new sight for Bradley Barlowe Wilson. Maybe he is buried in Ogden?

RE: Me again !!
Hi Gus,
I just added the photos to Francis LeBaron and Mary (Wilder) Waite's memorials. You may want to edit the last name of Mary (Wilder) Lebaron to "Waite."
If you want to add the plots to your memorials:
Francis LeBaron is "L 1"
Mary (Wilder) Waite is "L 2"
Take Care,
Sandra

Me again !!
Gus,
What I should of said was do you want the picture of Francis and Mary's gravestones (taken together) on both memorials? If not which one.

Mary (Wilder) LeBaron
Hi Gus:
I did get up to Burial Hill in Plymouth and took pictures of Mary (Wilder) LeBaron's gravestone.
As explained in my earlier message, Mary had married again and her last name was changed to "Waite."
She is buried beside her first husband Francis LeBaron. I took 3 or 4 pictures, one which includes a picture of her and her 1st husband's stone.
Do you want me to add these to your memorial? Do you want the picture of Francis & Mary together on Francis' stone or Mary's stone or both ?
I don't want to mess up your memorial of Mary with the beautiful wedding picture. Let me know if you want these pictures and I'll add them, and maybe you can arrange them the way you want on the memorial.
Take Care,
Sandra

Mary (Wilder) LeBaron
Hi Gus:
While doing research I came across some information on Mary (Wilder) LeBaron. I had earlier told you that a "Mary LeBaron" was not documented as buried on Burial Hill in Plymouth, MA.
From the book "Descendants of Francis LeBaron of Plymouth, Mass." by Mary LeBaron Stockwell, this information was found; (I know you have most of it I'm just going to give it to you word by word);
Francis LeBaron was born in 1668, in France; died Aug. 8, 1704, in Plymouth, Mass.; married Sept. 6, 1695, Mary, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Eames) Wilder, of Hingham, born April 7, 1668; died Sept. 25, 1737. His widow married (2), Dec. 10, 1707, Return Waite, born 1678, in Boston; died Oct. 3, 1751, Plymouth.
The reason why I think we could not find a "Mary LeBaron" on Burial Hill was because she had remarried and her last name became "Waite."
From Burial Hill, its Monuments by Benjamin Drew this epitaph was found:
Here lyes ye body of Mrs Mary Waite wife to Mr. Return Waite, she decd Sept. ye 26th 1737 in ye 69th year of her age. (Drew #156)
I'm not sure when I will be returning to Burial Hill, but I am constantly doing memorials from there. I will try to locate her stone, which I believe is around the same section as the "Lebarons."
Take Care,
Sandra Lennox

Mary LeBaron, Burial Hill, Plymouth, MA
Hi Gus:
You requested a photo of Mary LeBaron (Wilder) from Burial Hill, Plymouth, MA.
The only Mary LeBarons that are documented there are
Mary Doane LeBaron and Mary Jane LeBaron.
Do you have information otherwise?
I looked through Epitaphs from Burial Hill, and Burial Hill in the 1990's and did not see "Mary LeBaron. I live very close to Burial Hill so if I can help you out please let me know.
Also from all the documentation that I read about the LeBarons' the "Le" and the "Baron" should be together with no space.
The memorial that you did on Mary "Wilder" LeBaron is outstanding.
Take Care,
Sandra Lennox

You're welcome. The Old Burying Ground on Islesboro is very special to me. I spend my summers there & visit many times each year. I don't think I have a direct ancestor buried there, but certainly every stone is part of my family tree.

Do you have any photos of Appollas and his father and/or mother? I am related to Elizabeth Foutz Walker, Appollas' mother, but don't have many pictures of her. It would be great if you had a family picture that I could add to my memorial of Elizabeth. Thank you!
