Plainfield Cemetery
Gayle, my name is Cathy. I got the picture of Anna Catherine Kneirien Bender Kind's headstone you posted here. My research has indicated that Johann Cristoph Bender (or Christiohel Bender) is buried here as well. Since he died 38 years before she did, his grave might not be near hers, but I was wondering. I considered opening a page for him here and asking for a photograph, but was not sure that would be the best way to go. Would appreciate you opinion. Thanks. (they are 6th greats of mine)

RE: Julianna Rarick
Thank you! I had an approximate birth year and I didn't have a death place or burial location until I found her here!! Thank you again!

Julianna Rarick
Just wondering if you could check the inscription for Julianna's headstone. I think I can read "Our Mother Julianna Elizabeth wife of John Allomong" but after that it is hard for me to read. She was my g-g-g-g-grandmother and I want to include this headstone in my genealogy notebook, but make sure that I have the inscription correct. Thanks

Samuel Irwin Mahaffy
The small photo that you posted for Samuel is not for that Samuel Irwin Mahaffy, if you look closely at the photo the death date is February. There are 2 Samuel Irwin Mahaffy's

Spangler Cemetery
Gayle, Could you tell me how big the Spangler Cemetery is in Floyd County? I want to add some names to it but not really sure if this is the right one. I have some of the Spanglers listed as being buried in Spangler Cemetery in Floyd, Virginia and then listed also as Spangler /Lampey Cemetery. Are they one and the same?
Thank you for your hellp and with taking pictures.

Camps in Old Macomb Cem
Thanks Gayle for taking and posting the photo of the Camps for Jim. That's exactly how findagrave should work. We're all after the same goals, now relatives have been found by someone who was looking for them. So happy they have been "Claimed" and now will be remembered.
