Grider #144732637 & 144732585
Brother & sister Earl and Aline have been transferred to you. How great if there were more monuments like their parents with the children listed! Yarnaby is such a quiet peaceful Cemetery. Only Don's first cousin & wife are buried there. Nelda Kirk

RE: Maude Holderman's Children
I am happy to be of help - however, Henry and Minnie had more than 3 children - I just mentioned those three because they were in the obituary. They had five altogether - the ones shown on Henry's Find A Grave page:
Ruth Holderman Heiser (1898 - 1920)*
Mary Holderman Wallis (1901 - 1971)*
Marion Sequoyah Holderman (1902 - 1975)*
Covel S. Holderman (1905 - 1972)*
Geneva Holderman Humphrey (1908 - 1944)*

The youngest, Geneva, was my uncle's first wife.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

RE: Ezekiel Williams
Virginia,
Ella married Robert "Bob" Turpin December30, 1883 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas.
They had three children.
Daughter Willie Mae Turpin b Sept 1884 married Barlow Burton
Daughter Bobie Turpin d 1886 (pretty sure it was born and died right away)
One more baby that died and wasn't named.

Apparently they divorced because I found Robert Bob Turpin in census records married again with other children.

Ella and Ezekiel married in 1888 Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas.

Ella's Parents were:
Williamson Nevil Gee b. @1819 Lunenburg Co., Virginia d. After 1867 Grayson Co., Texas

Angus (Agnes) L. Johnson b. @1842 Kentucky (yes big age gap that carried through on census records I found)
All I can find are two daughters
Veal G Gee b. May 13, 1863 TX d. Nov 25. 1944 buried McMillan Cemetery, Marshall Co. OK. Married Thomas T Byrne.

Ella Priscilla Gee b Oct 22, 1867 Grayson Co., TX d. April 19, 1952 Hamlin, Jones Co., Texas
Married Ezekiel Williams Feb 2, 1888 Grayson Co., TX

Pictures
I don't have an account with Ancestry but did use them for a couple of months. What is sad is that people used my pictures and they are not always listed with correct info or people. When I did use that site it said you were not to use anyone else's pictures without permission and someone recently told me they can click on a link and add any of the pictures from findagrave. I was told Billion Graves has it set up where you can't take others pictures. I don't care about the headstone pictures, but family pictures used incorrectly is another matter. When this site started it was different, then it was sold to Ancestry and the rules changed. Good luck with your searches and have a good week!

There are lots of William Brown's in my family tree. I'll look for Charity and see if I have one listed.

I transferred him to you. My maiden name is Brown but most of my ancestor's started out in Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Washington. Do you have any Brown's from those areas?

Jordan / Welch Family
Hi Virginia, we surely must have some relationship with all of the familial names you have. I descend from Alonzo Adolphus Jordan and Mary Amanda Welch, through their daughter Irene H Jordan m. George H Whitaker, and their daughter Mary Sue Whitaker Prewitt.

What is your relationship to the family? Would love to compare notes. I have quite a bit on the Jordan family and have added several pictures.

Virginia,
Thanks so much for the transfer. Did 3 days of research for Cornell on Bob's ancestors and added and connected them for her, thanks to other find a grave volunteers like you. I will get it all sent to her tomorrow. Funny how the old saying" What goes around comes around." really happens. Years ago when I was first doing research Cornell sent me two books on our family she had purchased and wanted to share them with me. I will always be grateful as she was there to get me started in this great hobby. Thanks again for the transfers from all of my Mom's family.

RE: Thank you
She was a bit of a sad person. Grandpa died when she was 61 so I was sent to be a babysitter part-time. It was good for both of us but I resolved never to be as unhappy as she was. Then, when I was widowed at 27, I could see where she was coming from. She was a dear person and since I was the only girl for years, we became buds.
Hugs,
Judy

Wayne Franklin 116658059
Hi Virginia,
Sad Story...the Franklin Family. I just posted Robert I Franklin son of Wayne who is my cousins husband. I wondered why I had not heard from her and started checking and Wayne had passed away from Parkinsons. She asked me to post him and of course started noticing his parents were posted by you. Wayne's DC# 27831 gives most of his info. The really crazy part is today is Robert Franklin's birthday and last night when I was checking and saw his obit didn't even snap to the fact today was his birthday because I was so sad they had not called me. Isn't is funny how this research just speaks to you at times? It's like someone wants us to do this work. Anyway thanks for all your work again. Hugs

You are welcome! I created a memorial for her husband Oakley since I didn't find one when I searched. I also searched for the sister Della. I may have found her, Find A Grave memorial # 166593011, you will need to search it since I am rot related and have no information.

If you'd like to have Oakey's memorial, send a request and I'll transfer it.
