|SarniaKid||Alice Hodgins Memorial #134383960|
Hi---I went to the cemetery to take the photo of Alice Hodgin's headstone for you but couldn't find it! The office gave me the section she is buried in and I searched every inch with no luck---are you sure she actually does have a headstone? Let me know---I plan on going back on Sunday to try again! Possibly she has a flat marker that is covered with grass, etc.

Yes I Did. had to get them out of recycle bin. If you put out a request we can go that way or if I have a E-mail add I would send them. I have both mother & father.

My pleasure! If you have anyone else you are looking for in Woodland Cemetery (London), stay tuned, my goal is to catalog the whole cemetery but it is a big one! It could take some time.

was going by memory on plot numbers ... looks like I got them reversed in previous message - what's posted on memorials is correct.

I've no interest/connection re these memorials - if they're related to you, I'd be glad to transfer them. I'd checked cemetery transcript book for the one with photo request, but couldn't find name (cemetery transcribed before his death) ... took chance that he might be in family plot (#183) & decided I might as well photgraph all there. Found an 'extra' with the other Moose Nose photo request (Vernon #101) as well.

|Ron Spurr||RE: Grand Bend Cemetery|
To be comprehensive in my photography, I think I photographed all of the Dejardines/Disjardine gravestones so will be adding more photos to existing memorial postings as well as some "new" memorials too. I managed to miss five of the ten requests for photos so will have to try and find them later this year. Glad you are pleased. I try to do the best job I can and sometimes the gravestones can be very difficult to find or they are really worn away to the point wherein I am unable to read them, so they are missed.

You may already know this but Percy was cremated in 1979 and the cremains were buried at Wheaton Cemetery in 1982. The stone also show B. Elaine who, I assume was his wife. I took a closeup shot of her side of the shared stone too.

Thank you for your message, I am happy to be able to help. Next to the headstone for Elizabeth and James Hodgins was a matching headstone for a Thomas Henry Hodgins died 1880 aged 17. Also listed on this headstone were several other names including 3 infant children. It appears to be a family plot. Although extremely difficult to read, I have copied the inscription and have a photo of this one also. The are many Hodgins scattered throughout Campbells Hill Cemetery. Maitland Burial Register (available on the net) has them all listed in alpha order. If any of them belong to you, let me know and I'll be happy to seek them out for you if you want them.

I was at the "St. James on the Line" cemetery.
Sorry could not find him. The man who looks after the Cemetery showed up, He does not recall
the name, and he has been doing it for 17 years, and could find other names from memory.
If Ed was an inmate of the Asylum when he died, he could be in the "Asylum Point Cemetery" with no name marker.
