|Jan ||Taylor Cemetery in Davis County|
Hi Elaine. I notice you had a question about the Taylor Cemetery. I was unable to find the cemetery in Davis county, however, if you go to http://iagenweb.org/appanoose/ and click on "Cemeteries" you will find a Taylor Cemetery in Appanoose County. From the linked map, it appears to be directly on the border between Davis County and Appanoose County which may be a reason for the county confusion. Perhaps the Appanoose County Coordinator (link on the site) will be able to help you. Good luck! ...jan

I don't know where this Taylor Cemetery in Davis Co., Iowa is at since I live in Oregon. I don't know who I would call to find out. Do you have any suggestions? I know that this cemetery exists since all the information that I have found states this.

|Diane Green||Essex and Henrietta Horn graves|
Thank you so much for your very nice photos. It looks like this cemetery is well kept from your long shot.
Henrietta was born into slavery in 1850 in Mississippi...her grandson graduated from the University of Minnesota and became a pharmacist in Chicago in 1928...quite a transition in 3 generations.
