Sara Hickman
My grandparents, Martha and Allan Hickman
Hello! My name is Sara Hickman. I am the granddaughter of the Hickmans, and noticed you had a nice photo of them in regards to the gravesite/location of my grandma. I wanted to thank you, and also let you know I came to some of the Orr reunions w/my grandfather as a child. Could you remind me how we are connected? Were the Orrs on my grandfather's side of the family?

Hope all is well with you!
Thank you very much,
From a loving granddaughter,
Austin, TX

RE: Stemmons Family
I've stumbled upon a bunch of Stemmons and Coffield family photos at a Carthage flea market. I'm hoping to reunite them with their respective families. I've discovered that the families are related, and have even done a few Stemmons and Coffield Find A Grave memorial, after extensive research. Maybe you can help me get these back to where they belong. The photos were purchased at various estate sales in the area. I maybe have 20 or more photos.

Stemmons Family
Are you blood-related to the Stemmons family (or the Coffields)? I noticed you had added some old photos. Please do let me know. Thanks.

RE: Orrs of Tuscarawas, Ohio
I am so sorry it has taken over a year to answer you, but I just found your message right now. It would be fun to have this link. I know that Sara Jane Sears was born in PA in 1800 and Thomas Orr was born in Ireland 1804. I have not pursued this back any further. I have visited Sara Jane's grave site in Tuscarawas County and Thomas Orr I have a record of Thomas Orr being buried in Mattoon, Coles Co., Ill. I have verified this though.

Hope this helps you and I will check notes from now on.

I just read your bio, you can tell your brothers that we are related to Brad Pitt if that is any consolation for not being related to Daniel Boone.

Also, my brother lives in Colraine,Northern Ireland. I was there 3 years ago,, it is such a small world :)

Mary Dick Toliver
Thank you for the information, she is also my 4g grandmother. Which line do you come through?

One would think that she would be buried near John Henry Toliver.

I am hoping to make it back there within the next year.

Have a great day!

Glad to be of help. The family is not related to me. I just walked the cemetery taking photos and posting them on memorials or creating memorials for photos not listed. If these are your relation, I would be happy to transfer them to you. If you do not want transfers, please send additional info for their memorials.

Margaret Adams Hill
Hi, Elaine,

Margaret Adams, who married Hector Wilson Hill, is now linked back to her parents, John Adams and Isabella Campbell. Find A Grave member Morris Sweet has been extremely helpful in getting and posting pictures of the Hill stones in Fasken Cemetery and making a bunch of additions and connections.

Good luck with the reunion this year! And thanks, again, for the intros to the Wilson Campbells in MO. They certainly suffered a great loss this year.

I seen on the page for Salem cemetery in Mount Vernon, Missouri that you had taken a picture of that cemetery for that page. I was wondering if you could send me directions to this cemetery.

RE: Orrs of Tuscarawas, Ohio
There must be a connection someplace since you love cats as much as I do. :)

I do know that Thomas Orr was born in Guernsey County, Ohio and that Sarah Jane Sears was born in Washington County, PA.

I am getting ready to leave for church right now, but will check further this afternoon and try to send you more information.
