|Don and Betty Nees||William F. Damron at Konawa Memorial Cemetery, OK|
The death date shown for William F. Damron is Dec. 22, 1927. This is my Great Uncle. We knew this date was suspect from my records since he shows in the 1930 federal census. We’re in contact with his grandson who identified a death date around 1933. My search today at the online site for Oklahoma State Vital Records Index (ok2explore.health.ok.gov ) gives “William F. Damron, Male, Death Seminole County, Dec. 22, 1932.” At some time soon could you re-photograph his grave stone? Thanks. In the search for My Damron Clan.

Wondering if you might be able to help me out. My grandmother, a native of Konawa, recently passed away in Texas. We'd like to have her ashes interred at Konawa Memorial Cemetery, where her parents (Zack and Gertie Bacon) are buried. I can't find any information online, so I'm unsure if this is still an "active" cemetery.
Thanks so much!

Kathy, we've communicated some in the past. I got to the point where I would like to add some family of Sylva and I hate to ask you to always do the adding. Sylva is my aunt. I am the son of Clarence C. Aaron and was wondering if you could transfer the memorial to me. #47045519. Thanks

|Linda Berry ||Martha C Berry|
Do you have any other information on Martha C Berry 1853-1957. I think this is my great grandmother but I was told her name was Condecia Clair "Mattie" (by her daughter) Hunter Berry but same Ancestry pages have given her name as Martha C. If this is the right person her husband was Andrew J Berry and he died in 1907 and is buried in Violet Springs Cem.OK

Just realized I put the wrong name & number for the picture you had shared. It was the Grave Marker for Julius Fields (#30970111) & Clarice Nanny Downing Garner (30970235).
Thank you again

Thank you for posting pictures that you have taken here on Find A Grave. I have started using these pictures in my personal family tree file as additional source documents. May I use the picture you have shared of James Gault (#61905921) in my files, as well as any others of family members that you may have shared? I will so note that the picture is from: Find A Grave Contributor: Kathy Stokes Hudson #47052010.
Thank you again for your efforts, I do appreciate it very much.

|David Shapiro||George Walter Jackson & Maggie|
I just noticed you created memorials for relatives of mine. Uncle Walt was the brother of my maternal great-grandmother, Susie Jackson Post. Additionally, he married Maggie Johnston, who was the sister of my maternal grandfather, Daniel D. Johnston(Dan married my grandmonther, Monta O. Post, the only daughter of Susie Jackson Post and James J. Post). So, a double family connection. Are you and I related or are you a genealogy researcher who was kind enough to create these memorials? Either way, thank you very much. You are obviously quite skilled. My level of "expertise" is as close to zero as imaginable. I don't even know what USGenWeb is. Would they, or you, be able to build my tree? My name is David J. Shapiro. I may be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to your response. Thanks again. David

Hello, We were wondering if we could use your picture in our family tree. Ola was my 2nd cousin and it would help complete our tree if you would allow it. We will gladly cite you and Find A Grave as our source for the photo. Thank you so much for considering it. S

I just wanted to say Thank You for putting in a picture of June's headstone. My grandmother (June's mother) sent money for this headstone in 1994-95. I just brought this picture up for my Dad....he was moved to know the stone was placed. Thanks again.

|Mary Glenn||RE: Mary Belle Sourgin|
Your entry for Mary Belle Spurgin in the Konawa Cem in OK #30446891 lists her birthdate as 1890. The stone reads 1870. She also is on several census records that supports that date. She was a first cousin of my grandmother.

The birthdate should read 1870 instead of 1890.

Reid d. 1901, Robert Jackson d. abt 1920 and Nancy Ann Walters in 1953. Elisha's wife, Elizabeth Stokes, is buried at Rock Springs Cemetery, Pope Co., AR.
