|Anonymous Graver||Transfer request|
The main reason is because I adhere to Find A Grave's guidelines (see FAQs - Editing & Correcting Memorial Information). The other reason is because of unfortunate instances I have had with other members who insist I should transfer memorials to them because they are the keeper of the family tree (or other, similar reasons). This policy is stated on my contributor page, as well as the fact that I am happy to update/correct memorials and link family members. Transfers to non-direct relatives may be done as a courtesy, but they are not required.

I did you transfer. I am always glad to Transfer memorials to family.
What I was speaking of earlier was the Edit Tab at the top of the page just below the name on the right hand side. If you make your transfer request or correction request through that tab Finagrave will send me an e-mail that has a link to the memorial and your member number. Putting the link on the message board does not work.

I was at the library today and checked the plot book and James and Darlene are not listed in Oakwood Wilmington.

|Diane Voegeli||Fields Transfers|
Hi I transfered the Fields to you as requested. It would be much easier if you would use the tabs on the memorials next time as they give me direct links to the memorials so that I don't have to look them up. This will also give me your member number as well.

|D.M.B.||Charles Borba Azevedo|
I saw your Azevedo listings at Holy Sepluchre in Hayward. The combination of the Borba and Azevedo names caught my eye.
I am related to an Azevedo family. They are:
Manuel Azevedo (1857-1937) and Louise Silveira Azevedo (1871-1946). The couple had two children: Louis Martin Azevedo (1890-1971) and Mary Margaret (Mae) Azevedo (1895-1987), who married Manuel Resendes . They are all buried at Holy Sepluchre.
I am inquiring because one of my living relatives remembers as a little girl visiting Mae Resendes and Mrs. Borba used to come visit. This relative seems to think that Mrs. Borba came from around Berkeley for these visits.
Might we have a common relative?

Hi Gary, forgot to give you the email address to Find a Grave admin in case you don't have it.
I had said email me the photos, but forgot that I had also ask for photos of Vyse headstones. I was referring to the photos of the place where John's headstone would have gone.
Thanks for the help, Bill

Thanks Gary, for all your work. I thought it was strange that he was in a different cemetery than Melvina. I finally got ahold of his obit and it had the Odd Fellow Cemetery.
I will go ahead & change the cemetery info on his memorial.
Probably easier if you notify Find a Grave Admin about the name change and they can go into their system and make the changes, as you would only be able to do it if you were the contributor of a memorial.
Any photos you have can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks again, Bill

Gary, There was an additional Looney in Section 41, Lot 324 - Lamar Looney 1872-1935.
I added a record for him and added a photo. If you would like me to transfer him to you let me know.

Just added a photo note that the last name is Park not Parks. Cemetery office also has her listed as Park.

Doc does not have a headstone. The photo I posted is the lot that he's buried in. I can give you further information on the specific place if you want, just send me your email address. Also, cemetery records have him as being born in April 1855. He's listed as DT Looney, so I'm just assuming that's him, buried in the same section and lot that you have listed.

No worries, it's easy to confuse them on paperwork, memory, and everything else since they have a similar name and are across the street from one another. If I find that the cemetery records are incorrect and the burial was actually in Oakwood, I'll let you know.

I will attempt to locate Doc Looney's headstone this weekend, however please change his burial location to Oakwood Cemetery Annex. Cemetery records show he is buried in Oakwood Cemetery Annex, and it's an entirely different cemetery than Oakwood Cemetery. Thank you!
