Earl Brown Brooks
Hi,
Earl was my great grandfather, I never got to meet him and my grandfather, Robert Edward Brooks died when my father was 3. Do you have any pictures of Earl? If so, I'd love to see them.

RE: Phoebe Sanders
I'm not related....Adolphus Spicer is a part of the history of Little Wood River Blaine Id and the mother of the Compton sisters is buried in the historic Kilpatrick cemetery in Blaine Id.
They are all pieces of the puzzle that I have been researching.

Shirley Farmer
Hello, I combed Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain over and was unable to find a marker for Shirley Farmer. However, I did find a cornerstone with an "F" on it. Maybe she has an unmarked grave.

I transfered the ones you wanted over to you. I normally would not do it since I am related to them too. But my relation is only by marriage as they married into my Hoggard line. So I thought it only right some one directly related to them should have their memorials and can add information I may not have.

RE: Westlawn Cemetery
Pam,

I just redid the photos in May of last year and they don't have the NC images on them any longer. As for the shadows, I walk with a cane, and also use a walker sometimes so it is hard depending on where the sun is shining not to get a shadow because I have to get so close.
Which photos were you wanting copies of? If I have them let me know and I will send them to you. If they do have shadows I will go back out there and try to get them without shadows on them.

Westlawn Cemetery
Pam,

Were you the person that had contacted me some months back about Westlawn Cemetery photos? I am the person that maintains the Pasquotank Genealogy site:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ncpasqtp/
I have completely photographed Westlawn and transcribed it as well as many others in the county and a great number in Perquimans County as well.

If it was you, please get back up with me.

finding the graves
We had just a little trouble. The internet and our GPS helped a lot. Sorry we couldn't find all of them for you. My husband and I had a picnic lunch afterwards so it was a nice outing.

RE: Melvin L. Forehand, Sr.
Thanks for you kind response. My last three trips with photos at this cemetery brought no response. It is always nice to know that you receive the photos requested. I seem to be the only one doing request at this cemetery and will continue to do so.

SMITH GRAVE IN L.I.N.C.
Hi,
I got the picture you requested for Andrew Smith in L.I.N.C. I don't know if there is any connection, but in the next row is a Marvin Smith who died two days after Andrew. I added a picture to his memorial as well if you are interested.
Have a good one...
Glenn
