RE: Thomas Nelson and family
Hi, I have transferred the memorial of your gt-grandmother Ellen to you but that means there are now 2 memorials for her. I have no memorial for her husband Thomas as the headstone does not state he is buried there. I didnt transfer the memorial for their son James as you have conflicting info on him and state he is buried in NY with his wife

Name Correction
You list # 32959186 as Daniel Bonnefoy and his wife 32959068 Katherine Lasty Bonnefoy as the mother of Daniel Jr.

I have never seen documentation of "Daniel" as father or son. Ship Passenger Lists By Carl Boyer identifies Katherine/Catherine's husband as David Bonnefoy.

On 25 October 1714, his wife Catherine Bonnefoy made a will in which she named her children Henry Mercey[sp], David Bonnefoy, and Catherine Bonnefoy. The will was proved 4 Nov 1714, New York Abstracts of Wills, page 361. Her will was one of the few early wills to be written by a woman.

Find A Grave Memorial# 30817081
You state in the memorial about what his stone read. Is the stone no longer in the cemetery, has it been destroyed etc?

Hannah Sophie McDonald Shields-62089667
Please add the links to her parents:
Father- 6703563 William H McDonald
Mother- 6703562 Phoebe E Hendershot McDonald William and Phoebe are my 2nd great grandparents!! Are you related? I didn't have a death date for Hannah, just that she had died 1962-1968, so thank you very much!! I am in touch with Hannah's great grandson, through her son, Wilbur. He is going to ask around and try and find out what cemetery Hannah and her husband are buried in. I will let you know :)

On her daughter's memorial page you have her birth year as 1824. Please correct to 1924. Thanks for her death date too!!

I saw that you had Hannah's husband's middle name as James. Just thought I would share with you what I found that shows his middle name as John.
U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942 Name: William John Shields Birth Date: 15 Mar 1883 Birth Place: Morrisdale, Pennsylvania Residence: Luzerne, Pennsylvania

Thanks for your help with this!! :)

J Stefan
Clark Memorial in Israel Seacord Cemetery
Hi, When I was photographing the monument (I was there researching another grave) I noticed that there was an additional side that had not been previously added. Here is the information:
David P. Clark (1835-1917), it is on the backside of the same monument as Elijah and Octavia Find A Grave Memorial# 84033128. If you want to link this person and request a photo I can upload once the request comes through. Hope this helps you.

Information/Thank You
Hi Mina,

Thank you for making the memorial pages for 3 of my ancestors. I do have some additional information for you if you would like to add it. Memorial # 65183948 (Elijah Guion Dixon) was born on 21 May 1793 in Rye, NY. He was baptized in what was then called Grace Church in July 29, 1793. The church is now known as Christ's Church Episcopal in Rye, NY.

You have linked his wife Harriet Dixon to him. She is memorial # 65183859.

Their son is John J. Dixon, if you would like to link him to them. He is memorial # 65189603.

Thank you again for all that you have done. I would never have know where they were buried if you had not been so kind and generous. Kindest regards, Barbara Baker Pierson

Eric Geisbusch
New Rochelle-Israel Secord Cemetery
A couple of months ago I took 402 pictures of this cemetery. Besides what I have posted, there are still many pictures of stones that I can not read the names. There are also people buried in this cemetery that you do not have listed on findagrave. I will make a list when I get a chance.

Mary Landrine Pinckney

My husband and I will try to find the tombstone when we go to Tarrytown the end of the month.
She is actually in the Old Dutch Burying Ground Cemetery, rather than Sleepy Hollow.
You may want to move the memorial so we remember to look there.
Wish us luck!!
