sorry to be a bother. but do you know how I can get a hold the Sextant of Sunbridge cemetery they are not even listed in the yellowpages..
what we, the other William T. Smallwood family in the other cemetery and I have decided is.
either the application for the headstone delivered to the Old City cemetery in 1932 for William Smallwood E 6 MO SM Cav date of death MAY 1870
is all wrong or there are 2 William smallwood headstones in that cemetery....
the photo you took and is on the memorial and another one.
only if you look real close to the application the REG.. is not 6 but
E 5 MO. SM Cav
So I am on the search for yet another William Smallwood Pvt. and buried in the Old City cemetery died May 1870
I have changed all the bio on our memorial

ok, I will email her and ask
I just didnt want to do it without asking you and if she only put it there and is not sure then I believe that your memorial IS the original and hers should be combined with yours. Another creator did that to one that I had done when I did not see the one she had done. but please dont ask me how she did it>>> I could find out if that is what we all want to do.
Again thank you

I was doing more research on the William Smallwood.. and low and behold there is a dup of all the data I have found #86767187..
They have the headstone not photo'ed and
in a different St. Joseph Cemetery..
Since they have the same info... but yours is the older memorial and has the headstone picture ... I thought maybe I should talk to you about what to do next,
if this is the same man then we need to combine it with their????
if this could possibly be a different man I will research further... I have searched for a CSA 6th MO and the wikipedia site says no.
however I did a more broad search for the widow of William Smallwood.. Nannie J. Smallwood and oops there is a Nannie J Smallwood in Indiana... on the 1900 census..
anyway, what would you like me to do?
the #for yours is 35021354..
let me know @ email@example.com
thanks for the input

I left a link request for his parents via the edit field. My information came from his father's obituary, Friday, 26 Nov 1954 St. Joseph Gazette. If you need it, please email me and I'll be glad to send it. Thanks in advance for taking care of this.

|Ondre Huston||RE: Martha Ward Huston|
thank you, Kelly. I added her parents this morning. I'm very new to Find a Grave but am starting to get the hang of it. I know where Mary Ward Holmes is buried--same place as many of my relatives--and will need to go find her grave too and add it.
Email and let me know what's happening.

Hi Kelly, I've recently been involved in switching a number of Huston relatives to me in Find A Grave. I hadn't done anything with Find A Grave before but now wonder if you could transfer Martha to me. (That's what one of my contacts suggested--not knowing of our extensive correspondence!)Email me if you want to do this. I'd love to hear about the progress of your book too! --Ondre

|Teri322||Alma Coleman Pleasant Grove|
Thank you for the enthusiasm, energy and generous spirit you bring to this site. It is appreciated.
Is there any way that you might be able to help me 'read' what is on the bottom of Alma Coleman's head stone? It is difficult for me to make out the inscription.
Alam Coleman was a beloved mother to my husband's grandmother. She died shortly after giving birth to her youngest daughter, Leona and I know Grandma Edna always missed her.
Thanks again for all that you do.

appreciate you making the correction to the Walter Comstock Bartlett memorial. I don't have any connection to the family (that I can determine :) ) but ran across the info doing some other Bartletts. Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave!

I am currently compiling in hard copy the Cheadle family history of which the above is married to a descendant (5th great granddaughter of the progenitor, George Cheadle). My mother-in-law was a Cheadle. I am NOT requesting transfer of any memorials. I would respectfully request permission to download this photo and any others which pertain to our line. Since it appears to be YOUR photo exclusively, credit will be given such as "Courtesy of Kelly (unless you choose to provide and permit use of your full name, contributor, Find A Grave Memorial # ? ? ?" if that is agreeable.
I look forward to hearing from you, either way; however, if I do not receive a response by Sep 15, I will presume you have no objections to either my downloading the photos or crediting you as I have described.
My treatise is in no way a profit making project and will not (by my request) be posted on the internet nor will living individuals be included to the best of my ability.
You have no idea how much we who are of an age (I'm 84) or distance and cannot traipse through cemeteries as we once did appreciate the effort and passion of you who contribute to Find A Grave. Many thanks from an old lady.

|Karon Dunifin||RE: Carl Tripp - Hudson Corners Cemetery|
Kelly your welcome you can always use my photos don't worry about giving me credit, it doesn't really matter, I will have to check my camera as my laptop from which I normally do FindAGrave photo request crashed, I don't have it back yet so am not sure if I have the photo your requesting, if not I will be going by the cemetery several times next week and can stop and get another picture if needed but you'll have to give me some time to get it done.

|Matt||Dirk & Reka Wolters/Walters|
Yes, Kelly, please feel free to use the picture. Glad I could help!
Matt - I was wondering if I could use the picture of Reka and Dirk's headstone
on my family tree? Reka was my great-grandfather's sister. I have Dirk's name
as Wolters, and had been searching for them using that spelling, and finally ran
across your memorial with her name spelled Walters. Apparently they changed it
over the years, as many families did, so I can't thank you enough for posting

I went back and verified that it did indeed say "..the death of his wife's uncle, Mr. Sol. Ehrman, in St. Louis, Mo." Perhaps St. Joseph is where the records were kept. Anyway, you're welcome & thanks for posting it.

Thank you for transferring my Gr-gr-grandmother over to me. If you ever get back out to Mt. Mora, you should also find my gr-gr-grandfather buried in the same area...his name is probably on the same monument as Mary's. His name is Otto "Louis" Neudorff (Find A Grave #28464068). You helped me a lot a few years ago, and I appreciate all the hard work you are doing with Find-A-Grave.

Kelly: My treatise will be in two "volumes." One covers the progenitor and all of his children. Vol. II covers the descendants of his most prolific son. Each will be about 1,000 pages long and I am in a quandary as whether to put it on a CD or a thumb drive. It may depend on how much the CD will hold--maybe two CD's. I have set a goal to finish the hard copy by the end of the year but, at my age, who knows what will happen. Man plans--God laughs! I will add you to the list when the time comes. Thanks for your interest and help. Jeannine G. Verhoeks
