Re: Grace Emily Neiman
Mark,

I have emailed you, my aunt is getting in touch with Craig, Grace's son and giving him your email to contact. Craig would be a mutual blood cousin, and would be able to give you more information, so keep an eye on your junk filter if you have one.

Good luck!

RE: Grace Emily Neiman
No sir, I am a Sigvaldson. Grace Emily and my grandma were sisters.

If you are a child of Grace, you and my dad are cousins, how funny! We are the Robbins group, Bernice married Devon Robbins. I can also put you in touch with a son of Arnie Sigvaldson (Grace's brother) who has done extensive genealogy on the Sigvaldson's side back to Iceland. The Lundy's though (Grace's mother) I suspect are Scottish via Iceland, although some disagree.

Yes I can email you.

Potter updates
Thanks for the edits and obit on the Potter family in Oswego County, NY. Some edits I "declined", but that's because I had already manually changed and updated those memorials. So, in reality, all your edits were accepted and taken care of. Thank you very much.

Grace Emily
Mark, thank you for registering my family on this site, it has been very informative!

As I was transcribing the information for Grace Emily, number 67638955 I noted she and her brother were listed as born in 1922, 3 months apart. I contacted the cemetery to check on both dates, and Grace Emily was actually born in 1921.

Everything else was correct, I hadn't known my grandma had so many siblings, my dad had only mentioned his one uncle.

Thanks again!
Shelby

Ruth is the daughter of my great aunt, Agnes (Lindholm) Barrett. Another Find A Grave member posted her info and explains that she obtained the info from you. Can you provide me with the source? Your bio suggests that you value quality over quantity. Keep up the good work. Thanking you in advance.

Thomas E Albrant #66552517
Hello Mark,

Thomas E Albrant(66552517) is my cousin. I have a copy of his newspaper obit and photo of his headstone. Would it be ok to post that information or should I send it to you? Also could you link Thomas (66552517) to his father Euclid D Albrant (163936486). Or if you would like to transfer account to my care I will be glad to add information.

Thank you for all you do

Nelson Bump
I came across your photo request for Nelson Bumps 1920-1975. I found his obituary in the Bridgeport post and it states that he is buried in Union Cemetery in Stratford not in Lawncroft Cemetery Fairfield as you have placed him. You can change his buriel location and then re request him at Union. Good luck!

Your memorials were made in 2012 and made as "Burial unknowns" and only recently moved into their cemetery after you found someone else had properly made and documented their burial place. This is against Find a grave rules. You are not suppose to make bu's and then wait for someone else to find their burial place and then move your memorials to their cemetery. Thus making the legit memorials duplicates.

Please remove your request to link their daughter to your memorials as she is already linked to her correct parent memorials.

Milford R. Persons
Hi there!

My name is Cori Persons Safford from Utah. I was working on my Family History and came upon Louis B. Persons in my tree and I think I may be confused :? I have that Louis B. Persons was married to Mabel M. Persons (b. 1892)with Mabel's parents as Smith Persons and Anna Hill. I also show that they were married in 1915. When reading her Find A Grave record I saw a newspaper article that says she had a son "Milfred." (Find A Grave Memorial# 140756628) Yet it also shows that Mabel's brother Milford (Find A Grave Memorial# 27512117) was married to a "Mabel M. Hill Persons." The birth years aren't the same but I'm confused that Milford's sister and his mother had the same name.

I would love to get this straight :) You have done so much research I can tell so I thought that you could enlighten me!

Any information would be helpful. Thank you so much for your time!!

Have a great day,
Cori Persons Safford

Sherry
Swanner family memorials
Evening,
I have been researching the Cox family lines and find Margaret Elizabeth "Lizzy" SWANNER married John Henry Cox and had one child, my husbands grandmother prior to Lizzy's death.
You have a memorial #151902345 /Samuel Swanner up. On this memorial you ask for anyone with info on the family to contact you. I have the family on the 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 census. These census clear up some errors on Find A Grave.
I'll be sending an email to the address connected to your find a grave profile.

Memorial #105782645 & #105780636
The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”

There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at woodlawncem@tds.net to learn the exact location of Mary Persons #105782645 and Hiram Persons #105780636, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!

Katherine White
Isabell Avery photo request
Greetings - I fulfilled the photo request for Isabell - she is in Mount Olive cemetery, Newstead, Erie Co., NY. Her husband Richardson (died 1847) is on the same stone. Issue is he is listed as dying elsewhere and has a military marker in that cemetery too. Not sure what you want me to do.

Cramer Potter, Royal Palm Cem.
Hi Mark, My husband and myself do a lot of photo requests at Royal Palm Cemetery. We have been trying to locate the grave of Cramer Potter for a while, especially after reading his dedication to our country. We asked in the office and found that his grave is located in Block 347-3-1. We found a Katherine Potter's grave in that vicinity, but sadly have not found Cramer's. There's a possibility that he does not have a grave stone. What we can do is take a photo of the area where his grave is, or you can contact the office at 727-321-6316 and ask to have a marker flag put at Cramer's burial spot. Either way - please let us know so we can either keep an eye out for the marker flag, or take a photo as is.
We really would love to fulfill this photo request.

Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!

Gale Olsson McHale
Tracy at Holy Sepulchre, Rochester, NY
I went to the cemetery this morning and took a photo of Daniel Tracy's headstone which he shares with (who I believe is most likely) his wife, Theresa B and daughter, Rosemary.

When I saw the photo request for Terese M, it didn't make sense that she was born in 1886 and died in 2004 as you have on her memorial. That headstone has 1912-2004 as the dates (as you'll see). I attached my photo of Theresa to the request you posted for Terese (1886-1930) and created a new memorial for Terese (1912-2004). If the latter is actually Daniel's wife or related to them, I will be glad to transfer the memorial I made.

Finally, don't know if they're related either but ... Patrick, Mary, and Margaret Tracy are located in a plot very close to the Tracys you were looking for. I am creating memorials for them as well as posting photos to those memorials.

Stevens and Green
Hello,

I uploaded your photo requests today for Julia Stevens and her sister-in-law, Anna Green Stevens in Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

I also created memorials and/or uploaded photos for others who were buried with them (there are two different lots where they are buried).

Buried with Julia were her mother, Hannah, but also her father, Asaph, and a brother, Will (William).

Buried with Anna and her husband, George, was their daughter, Georgia Elizabeth Stevens Vealey, and her husband, John D. Vealey. Also in this plot were buried Anna's brothers, John Green and George "Georgie" Green. Georgie's stone is very worn. I notice that you have Jan. 9, 1876 as the death date, which matches state records. A transcription of this stone from the 1940s, however, states he died on JUNE 9, 1876. I am not sure which is accurate, but perhaps next time I am in the cemetery office I will ask to see the burial card, which might shed some light.

It is possible that Farmer and Elizabeth Green are buried here as well, but there were no headstones for them. Again, the burial card would confirm their locations.

Hope this helps.

Emma Crawford Hotaling - 96476378
Hi Mark,

I just suggested parent links for Emma via the edit tab and want to suggest a reason for her mother's name not being 'Emma' but 'Mary Ann' instead.

I've found all but one of the federal and state census sheets for James and Mary Ann Persons Crawford, and on every one she is listed as 'Mary' or 'Mary A'.

Only thought I had was the initials 'M A' for 'Mary Ann' caused her to be called 'Emma'. Weak at best, I know.
