I posted pic of C. Lovelace. I did a makeshift rubbing with lead pen and notebook paper to be sure of the name since the stone was in such bad shape. The layout the Church provided listed him (what I assume is actually on the stone) as "son of B. C. & M. A. Lovelace...that's not what's posted here...???
Permelia A. Lovelace (wife of M.J. Lovelace),and ____ Lovelace, infant son of M.J. & P.A. Lovelace is the next stone over. There are several unmarked graves before, between and after these.....

RE: Your photo request for Cleveland Lovelace...
I found a headstone for a Cleveland Lovelace in the Boiling Springs Cemetery but the dates were
Oct 23, 1884 - Feb 13, 1895. The request shows 1881 - 1885.
could this be a typo? I'll go back and get a picture if you
think it's the correct one...please let me know..

|Rich Dohm||RE: Pvt. Joseph Hamrick ~ Richmond (VA) National|
You're quite welcome Darlene. I'm certain Joseph isn't at Richmond National, that makes no sense, mainly because he was a Confederate. The two city cemeteries in Richmond that existed at that time and have massive Confederate Soldier sections are Hollywood and Oakwood. And they both have records offices to help you. Personally, I've seen SO many memorials placed in National Cemeteries that are wrong, and I think it's just because some people can't admit "burial unknown" so they stick them somewhere, anywhere. It's a disservice to posterity to make stuff up, yet I see it every day, and I think it will be findagrave's undoing, when researchers no longer trust it. Rich.
