 | Alfred P Jenkins Alfred P Jenkins Funeral Thursday Alfred P Jenkins, 91, who fractured a hip bone when he accidentally fell at the county farm several weeks ago, died Tuesday, May 14, at the Spencer hospital where he was taken for treatment. He gained for a time, but his age and falling strength were against him in the fight for recovery.
Mr. Jenkins was resident of the county farm for several years and there are grandchildren living near Greenville.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Cobb Funeral Home and interment was in Riverside cemetery. The News Herald May 17, 1935
The city of Spencer has this for him. Alfred Jenkins, 1844 5-12-1935 5-16-1935 Block 13, Lot A, Grave 15
I have been out to the cemetery and photograh all the headstones in this section and did not find him.
Hope this helps with your research for your family history.Added by Sharon Hesebeck on Apr 12, 2013 10:51 AM | |

 | Bengtson memorials at Dawson Covenant Cemetry Melinda, I just left you a whole batch of edits on several of you memorials to this family. I had taken photos for many of their gravestones and just uploaded them. I thought I'd offer what else I knew to add to the memorials and link family members when possible. I am "related" in that a Bengtson daughter married into the Carlson family, which I am related to. Thank you for your help connecting all these Bengtsons! | Frances Hegle Hello, I have photographed the entire Salem West Cemetery in Hitterdal, MN. and I have not seen Francis Hegle's gravesite anywhere. Does she have an unmarked grave or is she across the street at the Salem East Cemetery?Added by CW on Sep 28, 2012 5:58 AM | |

 | Emily Miner I am reasonably sure that the picture I am uploading for Emily Miner is her. If it is, the only way to verify is to probably check with the cemetery office. On a Martin-Miner family plot (including that picture) are several burials: Sylvester Miner (with "FATHER" at the foot), Elizabeth Thompson, Frederick Thompson, Joseph Black, "LUCY", and "EMANUEL." I am adding everyone but Emanuel, since I have no last ime. If you do not think that "MOTHER" is Emily, please let me know, I will remove the picture and you can reenter the request. Thanks!

 | Hannah Tyler Huntington I hope you don't mind me giving you a little correction on Hannah. #37199427. Hannah was born in Swinefleet, Yorkshire, England. You had a different place. Also, her husband Henry William Huntington, is buried in the same cemetery as Hannah. I have noted that he has not been entered just yet. I will try to get on that tonight so that the record is there. I am related to the Huntington's. If you have any questions please do let me know. | Carlsons in Dawson Covenant Cemetery Hello, Are you realted to the five Carlsons buried here that you have created memorials for? The Carlsons I'm related to are Adolph (59620117), Augusta (59655234), Axel (59620061), Obea (59620181) and Vernon (59620198). I am in the process of creating memorials for Carlsons in my family and discovered that you had already accomplished that for these five individuals. I have some more deatils on their lives and would like to link them to other family members. If you are related, I will be happy to do that via the "edit" button for each of them. If they are not related, do you want to transfer them to me, so that I can do the additions and linking? Let me know your preference. Thank you for all the work you have done to create the memorials. And I look forward to hearing from you. Kathy RipkeAdded by Kathy Ripke on Feb 19, 2011 11:44 AM | |

 | Andersons Hi Melinda, If you are related to the Andersons, I would like to hear from you. If not, would you be willing to transfer Ida Oftedahl Anderson and her husband, Albert Anderson to me, so that I can fill in their history? They are my aunt and uncle. Thank you.Added by Don Oftedahl on Jan 14, 2011 6:33 AM | |

 | RE: Andrews Family haha, not a problem by any means, always happy to help, I knew there were other Andrews you requested but because their death dates are more recent than the other ones, they're probably buried in the newer part of the cemetery, I plan to make another trip out there to finish them for ya :) glad to find someone with similiar interests as mine as well!Added by Brittney Kroenke on Jun 01, 2009 3:25 PM | |
