Gela M. Mitchell, Memorial# 29723366
Hello Marla,
I'm doing a photo project in the mausoleum at Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Oregon, and photographed the crypt for Gela M. Mitchell. I have uploaded my photo, which is a close-up. If you would rather not have it on Gela's memorial page, please let me know and I'll remove it. I've also sent some edit information for you to approve, with back up information showing where the information came from.

RE: Benjamin Burr 1602-1681
Benjamin was buried in Hartford, Connecticut. There is some confusion because someone put up the wrong stone in a memorial in Delaware. I am on Ancestry and there is no question Hartford is his resting place. Susan ♥

Hi Marla, I went to Lostine Cemetery yesterday and I could not find James Hammack, I did however find a Sarah A. Hammack, a Edna Verette Hammack, a Albert J Hammack, a James A. (1860/1948) and Glen Hammack with different dates, a Chester Waitman Hammack, and a Marian Hammack Soares and there was a grave with them marked Unknown. I did take pictures of all these if you would like any of them. Leslie

RE: Warren & Pearl Kirk at Lincoln Memorial Park
Hello Marla,
No, I'm not related to either Warren or Pearl. I was just doing a photo project at the indoor mausoleum and took the photos of their crypts. I did do some research on them, but I saw you had already created the memorial pages for them, so I wasn't able to use the research I did. If you are related, you probably already have the information I found, but if not, I can email it to you and you can use it or not. Please contact me at my email address and I can include the information in an email back to you, if you would like. My email address is on my member bio page.

Warren & Pearl Kirk at Lincoln Memorial Park
Hello Marla,
I'm doing a photo project in the indoor mausoleum at Lincoln Memorial Park. I took a photo of the crypt for Warren & Pearl Kirk. The photo I took got closer and the text in the photo is larger. You may or may not want another photo on their memorial pages. Please let me know if you would like me to upload my photo. I can always delete it if you don't like it.

I am working on completing your photo request for W. P. Wheaton. I went to the cemetery and talked with the office staff. They do have a plot for W. P. Wheaton, but the name Solon does not appear in their records. The W. P. Wheaton plot is on a piece of land that is owned by the Puget Sound and Grays Harbor Railroad Company. There is no headstone for this grave. I did take a photo of the ground. But before I post the photo, I wanted to confirm this is the individual you're looking for. Please let me know.

I believe he is buried in the Dewey Cemetery in Block 3, Lot 39, Space 20 with another infant who was buried 12/22/1927. This lot was owned by George Mitchell. There seem to be two burials in this space.

Yes, they do. His is the may marker and then someone added a strip with her name and dates. If you want you can create a memorial and will add the photos.

I photographed the Mitchell's markers today at South Lawn in Tucson. I photographed a Harvey Ted Mitchell, B. July 17 1917, D. Feb 14 1979. There is also anther name Oma Grant Mitchell (1911-1993).

The finish on the marker has wore, thus; hard to read.
