Gaye Hill
Parsley Cemetery
I sent this exact message to about 20+ persons with ties to Laurel County, KY to try and find this cemetery - or determine IF it still exists.

Just a general information inquiry.

Gaye Hill
Parsley Cemetery??
While I am NOT directly related or researching the PARSLEY family, but in the course of my own research, I came across a very long, detailed obituary for a Mrs. Patton in the Mountain Echo newspaper of 1888.

It states she was interred "by the side of her husband, in the family burying ground of M. L. Parsley" - do you know WHERE that might be? Or if it has changed names?

I will enter this on Find A Grave regardless, but it would be nice to make it accurate.

Thank you very much.

Mountian View Cemetery
Hi, I have been doing family research and have found a mistake in the Mountain View Cemetery. There is the Burris family. Among the family plot is "Harbert C." he is not a Burris. He was Harbert C. Miller who passed in 1939. His wife is "S. Belle" who passed 1981. She never remarried and was S. Belle Miller. When Harbert died she took him back to Oklahoma and placed him in her family plot. I don't know why she didn't put Miller on his stone? Who knows?

I am back! I see you added Silas Ezra Dempsey, #30425546. He was my paternal grandfather. Can you add my dad, Jack Dempsey, #3132257? Or better yet, would you transfer him to me?

RE: Your SAC about Silas Monroe Shinn
Some people have thousands of memorials managed and don't mind transferring any they are not related to or where someone has more information on them. Another contributor asked if I could add memorials for all of the burials in the Thompson cemetery and I was attempting to get them together. Since you are related to Silas and apparently to me, I understand your position. Good Luck
