Hi Carolyn, I got a "Success" message for my Arthur Petersen photo request but then I went to see it, there was not a photo posted. Should I re-request a copy?

I failed to tell you, you might contact the Cherokee County Kansas Genealogy-Historical Society in Columbus, Kansas and get more information. You can email them at email@example.com, I don't know what they might charge, but they can tell you.

The name doesn't ring a bell, and since I don't know what cemetery she is in, I can't look at her memorial! However, I will say, most of my memorials I maintain have been transferred to me, and I know nothing other than what is on the memorial. I am not into reserching, but am trying to clean up the cemeteries from the dupes and "live" people that have been entered by people who are into this just for the numbers. Sorry, but I can't help you.

|Nancy Miller||RE: Heiffner Cemetery|
Carolyn, Bill Miller was kind enough to send me your request for the rest of the Heiffner's since he knows that I was also a Heiffner. Some time we have to figure out if you and I are related. Anyway, the cemetery isn't that far from where we live in Wooster - going the back roads, probably 10-15 miles or less. Actually, I already have some of your requested photos which I took back in May when my older sister was here from Wisconsin. She is doing the Heiffner genealogy and I went with her to take photos. I'll get by there in a day or so and take the rest of what you need. Let me know if there are others in that Cemetery or even Ashland which I can also do while I am on the Heiffner trip. Also - a bunch of Heiffner's (Heifner's) are also buried in Nankin Cemetery which is real close by the Heiffner cemetery. My grandparents owned two farms just north of the Heiffner cemetery about a mile or so. Small world, isn't it? Have a good day!

Oh you are so welcome. I have a bunch more to put on - are there any more in particular that you want?
