Philip Hanes memorial, Old Hope Moravian Church
Caroline, we haven't talked for awhile. Really enjoyed reading your information under your bio!
I believe Philip's date of birth is November 21, 1752, not 1759. The tombstone is not really clear on last number, but according to research I have done and also in Jo White Linn's book, she lists his birth year as 1752.

I understand about the price of gas hindering a lot of activities, including our tombstone hunting. We have done memorials but we are also finding the economics plays a big role in how much we can do.

Anyway, I thank you for your consideration in changing this date on memorial. As you may remember I have written you before as my 3rd great grandpa, Martin, was the brother to Philip and they married Frey sisters.
