RE: Re: Elizabeth MATEJ shared stone
Lillian Matej (Matey) married Don Ginter, and they lived two doors down the street from us when I was growing up. Anna graduated from Bloomdale High School about four years ahead of me, and the oldest girl, Mary was out of school before I started. All three of the Matej (Matey) girls were very attractive young ladies.

RE: Re: Elizabeth MATEJ shared stone
I added the picture to Elizabeth's memorial, and I want to thank you for creating a memorial for her. I was born and raised in Bloomdale, and I knew Mr. and Mrs. Matej (Matey), and their three daughters: Mary. Lillian, and Anna.

Find A Grave Correction: Elizabeth Pavka‏
Wow, you're correct. What a mess! Her death cert says she was born Oct 13, 1850. And I believe she is shown twice in the 1930 census. Once in Branch County, Michigan, born about 1850 and again in Steuben County, Indiana born about 1848. Is she a relative of yours? If so I'll be more than happy to transfer her memorial to you as she is not any relation to me. I just copied the cemetery names onto Find A Grave and photographed everyone in that cemetery.

I agree that it seems very likely he and his wife Emma are at Newburg, I think underscored by the fact that his parents and their children are. I don't know the sextant at Newburg but I might move to make contact to see if I can address some of these questions of location.
