http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=mpearce&id=I06561 John, if you read this link, it appears there are TWO different John Conners and I am not sure which one you are related to. Jan

John, thank you for the note. Finding Stephen's headstone was such a thrill for me and my father. I am investigating how to best approach conservation activities at this colonial cemetery that needs some desperate TLC.

McFarland
Looked for John McFarland 1862 - 1923 in West Plains Oak Lawn cemetery. Records were lost in 1930 fire and no McFarland listed with these dates. I did find McFarland plot in the older section of cemetery that had a raised curb around it and a central stone with McFarland on it, but there were no individual markers in the plot. I can send this photo if you are interested by fulfilling photo request. I will wait to hear if this is ok. thanks Chris

I am going back out tomorrow morning if it isn't raining. There are several cemeteries in the area and they have no signs.

Maybe I will find it this time.

TLH
James Thomas photo request
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336

or to email them, the link is:
http://www.laurellanddallas.com/home/contact_us.html
They are good about responding to the email request!

There are over 154 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help. : )

Thanks for the transfer, I think I have those letters on my page on ancestry.com. I finally came to the conclusion. In my family nobody wants any of the information that I have on my family so I joined Ancestry.com and so far have put 5000 names up there, I have 15,000 to go. At least anyone wanting the information after I'm gone is welcome to it. Somewhere I researched the 66th regiment and pulled names from Washington County, just some I can think of off the cuff is Mcknight, charles E. Tatlock and Rdo, there is a lot more.

I was going to look into your inquiry today, but the Find A Grave memorial number doesn't appear to be correct. I did look at the other memorial you asked me to look at as well. If you could send me the correct memorial number, I would really appreciate it. ~ Sharron

My mom passed away early this morning, so I may not get to this right away. There are some great genealogy groups on Facebook. I host the Westmoreland county groups and some others. There are some wonderful people in the groups who are very helpful as well. ~ Sharron

Is there a particular memorial you are referring to? It would help to have additional information.
