I think you sent me the wrong mother and father for him. He is Smith not Wilcox. Don't you mean that Isabelle is his sister and not mother.

I've transferred management to you and any others. The person managing is ill and cannot any more.

Hope you don't mind my transferring him to your care, but you have made beautiful memorials for his parents and siblings. Sincerely, Kathy

I can do that.

Would you, or do you know some one, who would like to manage the entire cemetery? The gentleman who was managing is not incapacitated and can no longer do it.

RE: How do you get transfer from an inactive account?
Hi, I ended up sending about 3 -4 emails explaining why I wanted to get them transferred to me. Cemetery Walker had made many typos in the listings, plus I wanted to be able to transfer memorials to family members that wanted them. I don't have the email address I used handy but will send it to you soon and you can try that. I know another person, Jacki B. tried several times and was able to finially get them transferred to him.

Good Luck,
Mike "Graverider"

Thanks for sharing the links about the Senns and Divine Savior/Holy Angels. They are very interesting. I sent an e-mail to you this morning. Let me know if you don't get it.

RE: Aurelia Senn
Thanks for making the link. I appreciate that you created these memorials. Even though I'm not related, I enjoyed reading the bios of the friends of my grandfather's. It's even more meaningful since I have some small personal effects from the Senn family.

Do you know if there is a grave site for Leonard's second wife, Lola (Fuller) Krinke?

Transfers - North Marcellon
I've transferred Kneeland & Mary Cook. For the others, please send individual requests for each one (so I don't have to go searching). If it's just to link family, please provide name & memorial #'s of the parent or spouse, and I can certainly add those family links, as well as MAIDEN names. More than happy to do that. Just let me know. Thanks!

Thank you for the additional information. I had received the marriage information from someone else, with same date, but different year. I found them in the 1930 census in Los Angeles, CA and says they have been married for about 5 years. I have also placed links on her memorial for people to go and read information about them online.
Thanks again,

RE: Edward Port's parents/grandparents
Hi, sorry for the delay .. haven't done genaology in a long time.

I think the Edward Port you are referring to is my great-grandfather. He was born 10/17/1884 in Revillo, SD; died 9/16/1951 in West Covina, Calif.

Here's the rest of the info I have on my immed. family as I've been able to gather info. :

His parents were Philip Bernard Port and Barbara Meyers. Both were born in Germany. Philip was born 1842.

Edward married Bessie May Personette in 1908 in Maple Plain, MN. She was born 3/25/1888 in SD and died 9/16/1951 in Minneapolis, MN.

Bessie's parents were:
Sylvester Personette, 11/4/1854 --> 5/2/1901 and Mary Ann Hasty, 1853 in IN --> 1-3-1908 in MN.

Philip Port and Barbara had several children, one of whom was Oscar, brother to my great GF Edward. Confusion arises when looking at records that show over time Philip was also married to Mary .. unsure of maiden name, though several sources show hers also to be Meyers. Also shows Mary immigrating to the US in 1891 from Norway. In 1905 and 1910 the census shows Philip married to Mary with 3 kids ... John, Oscar and Mabel. They also show up later under Barbara and Philip .. will be trying to unravel that one with closer inspection of records. This should be 'fun'.

Oscar Port was born 3/31/1888 in SD and died 7/11/1963 in MN. The MN Death Index lists his mother's maiden name as Meyers.

Oscar married Clara Furstenall in 1924, according to the 1930 US Census. She was born 8/23/1888 and died 3/6/1976 in Minneapolis, MN, accord. to SSDI and MN Death Index. I have her mother listed at Kate Meyers and no further info on either her mother or father as yet.

As I go through more info I'm looking more and more for documents to verify or change info I have on my tree, and attaching those documents to it so others can see where the info came from.
