Matilda Chandler Smith(Patterson)?
Hi Larry, did you ever figure out if these two Matilda`s are the same person. Mine is the daughter of Richard and Charity Parks Chandler? I think she did marry at least three times that I know of.
She could have married a Patterson for the four marriage before she died. I seem to remember something else about a Patterson. I only knew the third husband was a Smith. I would like very much to hear back from you and your opinion on all this. Sincerely, Eli

RE: Matilda Chandler Smith(10/18/1798-
Hi Larry, I read your emails and I would like to be able to help you if I can. I don`t think these two Matilda`s are the same person but I could be wrong. Not many people know much about my Matilda. Just one of those things with so many not having gravestones and no information about their final resting places existing. So many records have not made it into modern times. If you have any specific questions I would be glad to try and answer them. I want to warn you though I don`t have much. A lot about the family but not Matilda. Please let me know and good luck. Sincerely, Eli

Sharon Earl Hite
Susan Shaw 1818-1887
I see where you requested a photo of a Susan Shaw grave at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cullman County, Alabama.
I was at the cemetery this morning and did not find such a grave. There are about 40 inscribed stones in this cemetery and at least that many which are not inscribed, so it is very possible this person is buried there but not verifiable by a stone.
Good luck in your searches.

Hi,
I just saw the graves you have posted for the Dodsons at North Farnham and I'm afraid it's thrown a bit of a kink in what I thought I knew. Could you tell me the source of your information? Thanks,
Jane

Hello Larry,
I have just noticed that you have created 2 duplicate memorials--83584274 and 83584304--for Gabriel D. Smith. You created both of these memorials on January 16, 2012. The Gabriel D. Smith memorial that I manage was created on August 26, 2010. Duplicates are against Findagrave rules. Please delete your duplicates.

Sorry Larry, that is supposed to be Matilda Chandler Smith. She would be my 3rd great aunt. I wish somebody really knew where she was buried. Does most of the information list two possible cemeteries for her? Sincerely, Eli Chandler

Malinda Chandler Smith
Hi Larry, just saw your memorial for Malinda and was wondering if you knew anymore about her? I think she may be a close relation of mine. Many of the Chandler`s lived in this area for several generations. Most do not have grave markers or are buried in private family cemeteries we (the families) are guessing. Can`t find many of them anywhere. I hope you can shed some more light on Malinda. Sincerely, Eli Chandler

Maria Gilliland (Head Hunter)
Rocky Mount Cem in Dekalb CO, AL
I saw where you have made five requests last year and there was no happy results. I would like to help you in your pursuit but I do have a few questions, if that is ok? I found a cemetery census in plot order instead of alphabetical so I feel like I can find Malinda ok and she is listed on the 1965 records as buried there. The next first question is about Nancy Reed. Can you dbl check the dates for her as she is listed as only 7 yrs old so how can she be a grandmother? Just edit them on Find A Grave and I will pick it up that way. Next, there are two stones for James Reed, one b-1809 married to a Sallie C. & the other James Dallas Reed b-1891 married to Ester Oliver. As for Elisabeth Reed there is no listing for her on the 1965 survey but I saw where you had that she is beside her sp. Benjamin and I will find his marker and get a wide shot on both sides of him if I do not see a marker for her specifically. Also found the marker listed for Mrs. E.C. Couch (Rouch, on survey) listed so I will get a shot of that too. Let me know if you have anything else you need in that cem. or the area. Maria aka Head Hunter 47958320

RE: Cruce pictures William Zach Cruce
Hello Larry, you and I are definitely kin. I'm descended from same line, my great great grandmother was Stephen's daughter Philippa Ambrosine Cruce (White). I do not have any photos of Stephens family unfortunately but I have one of baby Dora, Philippas only surviving child. I also have a couple of photos of some of her family in their later years.

I'm in the middle of moving at the moment so all my pictures are packed, but if you are interested in anything I have please let me know. Look forward to hearing from you :)

Kathryn Hopkins
"Sir Thomas Couch, Jr"
Hi Larry,

I am very familiar with the Couch-Patton Cemetery in Bedford County, TN. I am a bit confused as to who you want to leave a marker for?

I am also interested in where you obtained the surname ALLEN for Nancy, wife of Joseph Couch (also curious about the middle name of "Elijah" as only his grandson has that proven middle name to my knowledge). This is also my line so am always interested in the correct sources for details.

I can provide more details and directions. Please contact me at kathopkins@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Kathryn Hopkins

Columbus Alexander Morton
Hello,

I was reading the post you added about James Alexander Morton, and I was wondering if you had any information about Rev. Columbus Alexander Morton? He is my great great grandfather, and I'm researching our family line. I know dates about him, and his family, but I'm looking for more personal stories about him. Anything I can find to learn about my family history. Anything you can give me is appreciated.

Thanks,
Amanda
