RE: Thanks
You are very welcome. Oak Grove is only a couple of miles from my house, so if you ever discover another tombstone in that cemetery you'd like photographed, please post it to Findagrave. I check it every so often, especially in the summer, when I'm not in school.

William Pettigrew update
There appear to be some missing children of William pettigrew buried at badwell cemetery. (21340177). He had 9 children.
Thomas, Jane, Mary, and Adèle are listed. Missing are John Petigru b. 1792 d. Unk burial unknown, Charles Petigru b.1806 d.1825 burial unknown, Harriette Petigru Lesesne (35002646), Louise P. Porcher (28144871), and James Louis Petigru (15954919). The difference in spelling was initiated by James Louis Petigru, depending on what story you believe, to honor his mother's (Louise Guy Gibert) French Hugenot heritage, because he hated his father, or for social climbing at SC College and then in Charleston. His siblings all followed suit.

Allston Family

After I claimed your request for Catherine & Dr. Allston the request disappeared!

Just wanted to let you know that I went ahead & went to the cemetery anyway & took photos of them & their 2 children that were in the same plot & posted them to their pages.

There is another daughter who married a Livingston. As soon as I locate their plot I'll get some photos of her & her husband.

Have a good week,

Hi Sara,

I just filled your photo request. By the way, there is a Mamie Kintner buried next to him, I just created her memorial, but I don't know what their relationship is.

RE: A big thank you
You're a sweetheart Sara. Strawberry Chapel has really gone down hill. They have had so many vandalisms lately, because it's so remote. It was always so well kept, but now that vandals have knocked off most of the slabs on top of the graves to apparently search for valuables. A real crime and so so sad. Hurts my heart to see what has happened there after 250 years. Take care of yourself.
