Since you knew Jim and Rose Mary, please link Jim to her, Find A Grave 116219903. Thanks for adding the info re the Church and the Men's Prayer Group. Even though he never used it, no one knew of it, I am curious as to why you won't list his name correctly as Gahlen, like his Father, that was his first name. I learned of it only when I tried to learn what hospital room he was in just before he died to advise the member's of the Prayer Group of his location.

sorry
I had my wires crossed earlier. Marion's Dad was Campbell G. Pool. His siblings included George, Clara, Barbara, Verna, Garland. I'm sorry for the mixup. Judy

Elizabeth Rachel Pool Hill
Hi. My name is Judy Dixon, I am Pete and Eula Hill's daughter. I think there is another brother to Elizabeth. His name is Joe Marion Pool. He went by Marion, I have heard my Dad talk about him alot. He is buried at Summers Mission Baptist Cemetery. He was born in 1910. I may be wrong, but I thought I would mention it.

Sarah Frances Combs Sheppard
Glenita,
I am researching Sarah's family history. Specifically her father Lee Combs. Do you have any information about him? I know he was born in KY about 1855, must have died in about 1892 and the family consisting of Susanna Powell (mother), Nancy Ledford (grandmother), Jack (brother) and Willie (brother) moved from KY to NW Arkansas (Newton County) in about 1894.
Appreciate anything you may have,
Steve Jacobs

Dr. John Adam Doss
Glenita, I recently added a grave on this website for Linda Doss, who was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, AR. On her gravestone, it says that she was married to a J.A. Doss, whom I suspect is the same man you have listed, since he was buried in the same cemetery. In his biography, you mentioned that he was divorced. Could I ask about your sources for that? I'm trying to learn more about Linda Doss. If he is the same J.A. Doss who was married to Linda, I think that it's likely she died early rather than that they divorced, because she was only 28 when she died. Also, it does say on her headstone that she was married, though that may have been put there to preserve her honor.
If you have any information on Linda Doss I would love to hear it. Thank you!

hi, glenita. if you suspect the other entry was not in the cemetery (possibly a burial unknown), you can report it to edit [at] findagrave [dot] com and ask them to look at the history of the other memorial. the first one in the correct cemetery is the one that should remain, and the admins are able to see exactly what happened.

hope this helps.

Request for permission to use photos
I'm using Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker to work on my genealogy and would like your permission to use the photos found on findagrave.com:

At this time, this is the memorial I'd like to use - I expect there will be more coming later:

No, you didn't break any rules, lol :) Maybe put in the memorial bio that she has 2 listings in 2 different cemeteries and add also the memorial number. That way, another crazy person like me doesn't send you a note. Have a Merry Christmas

Possible error on memorial page
I did not want to change the memorial page for # 127659372 John Dodson Bratcher but pass on the information I found today. According to Arkansas County Marriage Index 1837-1957(found on Ancestry) John was married to a Sarah Jane Single not Sarah Felkins listed on his memorial page......There may be something I'm not aware and didn't feel comfortable changing it without consulting with you. Thank you

RE: WH Lively at Weddington
no problem. Me too!!

He was the husband of Eliza Ann Lively.

William Henry Lively, was his given name. You had sent a change that his nickname was "WIEY." I thought you had probably meant WILEY, since that is how the marker is carved. So I held off on it, til I could hear from you. I forgot that after 30 days or whatever, they go ahead and change it themselves. So it has his nickname as Wiey. See http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=lively&GSiman=1&GScid=672276&GRid=117773985&

Should I change it back?
