RE: Jonathan Jonas Burger
Was his name actually Jonathan Jonas married to Susan? Should his name be changed? The name on the marker is Jonas and that is in the cemetery records.

RE: George & Anna Magdalena Row
How many greats? I created and am maintaining the memorials for my friend who is George and Anna's fifth great grandson following their daughter Mary Magdelena Row Krieger to Eva Krieger Bailey to Sophia Bailey Stauffer to Aldena Stauffer Riley to Ruth Riley Weesner. She was his grandmother.

George Rowe
Thanks Vicki for the info... I try to be correct and go by records... It is understandable that the error was made as there are too many Rowe's with that name. I have been researching them lately, so it's good to know I am on the right track...

I'm related through Catherine Brown Pearsall; she & Albert were my mother's grandparents. Since I see a Puderbaugh mentioned in your messages, you probably know about the Brown/Puderbaugh reunion in Topeka every year. I don't know if I'll be able to attend this year .. I think you have more on the older branches of the family than I do, but I'd be glad to send what I have if you don't have access. The book that mentions Jacob U is Andreas' "History of Kansas". Thanks for the reply! Your cousin, June (Gridley) Ford

Jacob U Brown #77623130
Thought you might be interested to know that Jacob was the first German Baptist minister in Jefferson County KS. There is also a story in a Kansas history about his starting a free-state town, I think around Ozawkie, no doubt now underwater, that was burned out by pro-slavery men. Jacob is my 4 greats grandfather.

re: Sophia Puderbough (?) Darrow
I am unaware if there is a headstone for Sophia Puderbough (?) Darrow. You may want to contact the local genealogical society, perhaps they know if one does exist.

I did transfer the memorial to your account for upkeep.

Barbara Berst
You are quite correct. Barbara is definitely buried in the Hummel Memorial Cemetery.

According to the records I was given, she is buried in plot M-9.

If you have contacted the creator of the other memorial, I'd suggest waiting a month for an answer. If they don't respond or change things, then you send a message to Find A Grave.

Here is a link to the info. Find A Grave has a bit of protocol and it can grate the nerves occasionally. I found life to be easier when I just follow it.

Sally Replogle
Hi Vicki
I'm not sure what you would like me to do. I don't have Catherine Brown. This is all I received from you to add.

"Sally is my 3rd great aunt. Could you please link her to her husband George Replogle #67534206; and her father Jacob Brown #57176457; and her mother Elizabeth #57176517."
I made the link.

I can edit George and Sally.

Thanks Karen

Yes, I do see the resemblance. You are welcome to send me any information you may have. I believe you used to correspond with my sister, Betty Shanks, and may have sent the same information to her. I am checking each memorial in each cemetery in Cherokee County and don't really have the time to delve into genealogy, but thanks anyway.
