I searched the location given for his stone, I could not locate. I left the location information on your photo request site. I will keep looking.

Hi, Loretta. You have requested a photo for Sarah Smith Rogers in the Chandler Cem, Wilson Co, TN. The cemetery is in considerable disrepair, and I could find only the footstone "S. S. R." I'll upload that, but will leave your photo request in place in case someone else can do better.

Thank you very much for the transfer of my parents. I grew up in the community and have many relatives buried at the cemetery. Since I have worked on genealogy for many years and do know a lot about a lot of the people buried there, I would like to try to furnish more information on individuals when ever I can. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

I believe you had a photo request for Lavonia Garrett in the Gamaliel Cemetery and she didn't have a headstone. It has now been set and I have added a picture. Find A Grave Memorial# 24396274. Thanks, cc

|Abigail||Chandler Family Cemetery|
Do you have an idea where Chandler Family Cemetery is? The only ones I am finding with an online search are not in Wilson County. Is it in Lebanon? Mt. Juliet? I am not sure where this is, but am trying to plan out a "photo trip" for volunteer photos. I'd love to help! Thanks!

Unfortunately, I visit so many forgotten cemeteries around this area.. I feel for the memory of these forgotten souls..
I came across a stone in the forgotten Denmark Old Soldier cemetery last Sunday that shook me..
A 17 year old died and on his very large stone was inscribed in part:
"Remember youth's when this you see
that you will shortly follow me"
Rather profound..for Sept.30,1834...
