|tom stevenson||The McCoubrie Stevenson family tree|
Hi Melissa, My name is Thomas Stevenson
Jane Bussey's maiden name was McCoubrie. Jane had a sister Lillian Irene McCoubrie Who died young at 18.
Jane's Mother name was Lillian E. McCoubrie..Her maiden name was Stevenson and was my Great Grandfather's Sister.
My Great Grand Father was William J. Stevenson also my Grand Father and Father's name. I think Jane lived near Philadelphia for awhile because I think her mother Lillian E McCoubrie is buried near Philly.
Jane's Mother Lillian E. McCoubrie Stevenson and my Great Grandfather's Father was a Robert Stevenson and they live in what was called Allegheny City, now part of the Northside of Pittsburgh. If you would have any info or pic's of any of these relatives it would be greatly appreciated.

If you come across any Hartmiller besides Donald can you let me know. The person who created 14905860 George Hartmiller and 14905928 Cora Hartmiller has them buried in Montana and I think it should be Cleveland Ohio. TIA.

|Edward Stephens||Mount Zion Cemetery Gay, WV|
I am the great nephew of Cora Crook Stephens Morris and her husband Benjamin Franklin Morris who are interred in our family cemetery.
A common mistake is the correct name of the cemetery. It is Zion Church Cemetery AKA Stephens Family Cemetery at Gay, WV. If you search find a grave Stephens Family Cemetery Gay, WV, you will find a complete listing of the burials there. I have found it on find a grave many times as Mount Zion Cemetery which is incorrect. There are also burials listed there who infact are not in this cemetery. The last burial there was in 1998. Sadly, we can not reach the cemetery anymore except on foot. Our family has cared for the cemetery since the 1960's which is why we refer to it now as the Stephens Family Cemetery. We are all related somehow. I have been fighting the county road department trying to have the road repaired but since no one lives along that part of the road anymore, they refuse to fix it. Thank you for your time, Ed Stephens

Littman Wiernik was my great-grandma's first cousin from Grajewo, Poland. They had moved to Gera in Germany. He and his wife were rescued by a Cleveland relative but he died in 1943. His granddaughter Ethel (born in Germany as Adelheid) had gone to Mandate Palestine but then went to Cleveland. So Littman has two headstones. This one is the original one, but when Ethel died another stone was put up that his his name on it and Ethel's. She died in 1979. So I was quite puzzled by this. There is no stone for his wife Sarah, and it's odd to have a headstone with a grandfather and granddaughter. Ethel never married. Are you also related to Littman Wiernik? I' my trying to get information for his great-grandddaughter in Israel. His children in Gera were murdered, but various grandchildren managed to get out (they were in Zionist groups, at least two in a model Kibbutz in Berlin). They are discussed in the book Juden in Gera.

Melissa, in looking at the photo for Kates gravestone, the Hebrew is cut off. Did the original photo perhaps have more of the Hebrew. I am asking because I need Kates Hebrew name and that is not visable in the photo displayed.

|kari stenson||Caroline Eichleay Minsinger (Find A Grave)|
I am researching this side of the Family. Caroline Had a Sister Named Christina Eichleay Sheppard who married Theophilus Sheppard and resided in Mount Pleasant Pa, Westmoreland CO. Their son Walter McCandless Sheppard Was my Great Grand Father. I have Walters Death Certificate and it lists Theo and Christina as his parents. Christina died around 1891. She is buried with son Walter in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Head stone lists simply Mother. I had a letter where Walter Referred to his Aunt Caroline Minsinger from Pittsburgh. Any helpful information on Caroline's Father John Eichleay and brother John Eichleay? There have been people on ancestry but I think they may have passed as their accounts are no longer active. contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I was wondering if you had another photo of the headstone for Sarah Schmukler that included the entire Hebrew inscription. This information would tell me who her father is. She may be related to my family and this would be helpful to know. The following is from the page on this site:

|Caryn Dugo||Michael Abbott|
Hi. I sent a correction today for this memorial which changes place of birth from Pittsburgh to Altavilla Milicia Sicily. I found his birth record, which is #40 1909 in Altavilla Milicia, along with the marriage of his parents Biagio ABBATE and Marianna Scafidi, and the birth records of 3 of his 9 siblings, also from AV. Three siblings were born in Chicago, and the last 3 were born in Pittsburgh. It appears that his parents and the siblings that died young were buried with the ABBATE name, the rest of the children changed their name to ABBOTT. I dont know if you are related to this family..I am not, at least not closely. What I am doing is adding information to the memorials for those who came to the US from Altavilla Milicia Sicily, where my great grandparents are from. thanks!

Hi Melissa - Thank you for fulfilling the photo request at Riverside Cemetery of memorial 144778822. Wonderful of you to help out. Either photo shows the headstone just fine by itself, so if you wanted to leave only one that would be OK. Wasn't sure if you preferred to post both. Take care.
