HI Melanie, Good to hear from you again. The pic of Fran is one I already have in my files, but thanks for thinking of me. The one of Richard and a little girl I did not have. Who is the child in this pic? Paula

Morristown
Texas, thank you for your 5 photos of the Morristown cementery. I have visited Morristown many times as my Grandfather was born there in the 1880,s. His Grandfather died in French Corral in 1890 but I have not found his marker yet. His Grandmother was burried in North San Juan. We did crayon scetches of those 5 grave sites in 1995 and took photos as well.

Thank you, Bill

Many, many thanks for the time you spent looking for the marker, I know how hard it is to locate old markers, especially in old cemetaries. Your time is greatly appreciated.

RE: Langman family plot
Melanie,
Thanks for all your help, I now know the resting place of a few more relatives and having the photos you took added to their memorials is just great! Not sure if you took additional photos while you were at the cemetery but if you happen to have one for Alice and John "Chester" Scheemer, I would be thrilled, Alice maiden's name was Langman and she was the sister of the other Langman's you photographed. If you happen to come across her please let me know. Thanks once more, it is volunteers such as yourself that make this such a great site, Cheers!

RE: Langman family plot
Melanie,
Thank you so much for taking the time to locate and photograph the marker of Bessie Langman and also for sending the information on the other markers you found. This is very useful information, I will see if I can determine who they might be and add them to Find A Grave and will put in a request so you can add your photos. I am pretty sure that JHL is her husband James Henry Langman as his marker is right above hers, I was not sure he was buried there and have added a memorial for him. Thank you so much for all your help! Cheers!!

RE: Moore's Flat
Hi Melanie,

That is a very cool bit of information about the cement marker and the moss growing on it! That explains what is making the lettering so dark. I am glad to know so much more about the cemetary now and how fortunate I am to be one of the few who have a headstone to mark the grave of their family member. Thank you again for all your work and for being so thoughtful as to give me more information about the grave and grave site. :)

RE: Moore's Flat
Hello Melanie,

I just wanted to say what a wonderful surprise that it was to see the head stone of my great-great grandfather. I really had given up hope that it would ever be found. Thank you so much for your work in finding it and not only uploading pictures of it but of the cemetary too.

FrancisE. Nance Dowling
I got her linked as Lester's mother and linked her to Richard as her husband and made a note indicating they were divorced. Is she also the mother of Doris Nance Clarke? If so, just send me a note through the Suggest a Correction (SAC) screen and I'll make the additional link. The SAC seems to make it easier and faster plus reduces errors.

Have a great day, and keep the updates coming, Paul E. Hodel

Melanie, I just came to look at my husband's ancestors memorial as Doug McBroom told me he had added the photo of Thomas and Matilda Wayman.
Imagine my surprise in seeing the actual cemetery and gravestone. Thank you so much for putting them on the memorial.

Hi Melanie! I requested a photo of Tombstone in this cemetery if one exists. The volunteer who responded doesn't know the location of the cemetery. Can you provide specific directions?
Thanks,
