Anna Showalter
Hi, When we were at St. Vincent Cemetery, we did not find Anna Showalter's headstone, but will look again this week. I think her stone may say "Mary". I claimed this memorial because I checked Dale Roadman's book where he transcribed St. Vincent in the 1990s. He had written that there were four illegible stones next to Jacob Showalter and I assumed that one of them was Anna, but I was wrong. The four stones are Ulrich, Jacob, John 1880 and John (1851 maybe, hard to read). I also found James W. 1923, Catharine J. 1936, Vincent A. 1949, and Anna M. 1938. The four stones that are together are in terrible condition, the inscriptions are almost gone. I had to use white chalk to determine who they were, but so much of the stone is eaten away that on some of the stones it was still hard to be sure of the dates. If you would like to add memorials for the additional stones that I found, I'll be glad to put my photos in. I'll let you know if we find Anna!

I corrected the cemetery. You might want to add the marker picture. Dale :>)

I deleted my original memorial. If you find others, please let me know and I will move them since the two cemeteries seem to be confusing and hard to tell apart when you are not local. Thank you.

Lavina Crocker, Frisbee Cemetery, Erie Co. PA
This cemetery has been abandoned for decades and completely grown over; and the access road is now privately owned. We found about 20 headstones above ground, only about 15 with portions readable; none of them undisturbed. Did not find one which may have been Ms. Crocker's.

Union Grove Cemetery
Hello, you were requesting photos from Union Grove Cemetery. Canal Winchester, Ohio. Do you have an idea as to what part of the cemetery they are located in?

RE: Rosa Connolly
Yep I found he husband in the mausoleum, and she has a marker, but it doesn't reflect her death. By any chance do you know which mortuary handled her services? or the month she passed. Did she have a mass at the church. Reno is still small enough where a few phone calls should locate her with a little information. You can send to me direct email at

Have a great evening.

when did she pass? I have picked this up,and maybe I will have enough time to get the picture, but the date of her passing will let me know when the marker may be on the wall.

I didn't mean for you to do a photo request, just add them to FindAGrave then I would add the photos, but thanks. They were in Section D if you'd like to add that. I just much prefer adding pictures.

Hi, I didn't run across your requests, but I did find May, Grace, William and James. Would they be part of the same family? I don't see them listed. So if they're part of your family you can add them then I'll add the photos. If they're not, I'll add them.

Dan Malloy
Samuel Warfield
Samuel Warfield, 1673 0 1752, is listed as being buried in Hopedale Village Cemetery. The cemetery was established by the Hopedale Community in the 1840s, so this seems doubtful. Much earlier burials, including a dozen or more Warfields, are buried in the South Hopedale Cemetery. Could he be there? I've looked but some of the early stones are pretty hard to read.

Hi Frances,

You are very kind and most welcome.
I have added your other two requests from the Dye family in Cherry Creek. I also created a memorial for a Doris Dye 1917-2004 and added the photo.
I took them last summer, I'm still trying to catch up on posting last years photos.

Sincerely, Ron Kinney

I put another Brewster family on findagrave which was in another part of the cemetery. You will see them if you search for Brewster in that cemetery. They may be part of your family though they were in another section of the cemetery and we just happened upon them.
