RE: Averys
Hi Diane

I would be happy to manage the Avery Clan.
Arthur Mills was my great grandmother Mary
BOLYE Mills Avery's first husband and Sadie Mills Kirk was their daughter.
So if you want to turn the two Mills graves over to
me that would be fine. Not sure if Arthur Mills father Samuel is buried there too.

If you have done the Lower Cemetery you can turn
James Ranholm over to me as well. He was my cousin
Helen's husband and our step grandmother's son.

RE: Nancy Louisa Malone Burris
Hey! Diane, I have the death certificate with the information. I'd be happy to send it to you if you want, but I'd need your email address...or if you go to the Missouri SOS site, you can find it there. I'm related distantly through her husbands side of the family.
Happy digging! Jeanie

Michael Disbrow
35322135 Elias Disbrow
Hello -

I have just added a headstone photo for Elias Disbrow (#35322135 - Colonial cemetery, Westport, Fairfield co., CT), my ancestor. I also linked his son, Reuben Disbrow.

I was wondering if you would add Elias' birthdate and place: 26 Nov. 1750 Fairfield, CT

And the following bio:

"Son of Joseph and Abigail (Meeker) Disbrow. Elias served from Fairfield county, in Captain Thomas Nash's company of Coast Guards during the American Revolution.

His first wife was Olive Gray (1748-1778), and they had the following children:

Reuben, Elizabeth, Joseph, Olive.

His second wife was Susannah Green (??-1796), and they had the following children:

Eleanor, Sarah, Rhoda, Elias Jr., Joseph, Esther, Thaddeus."

Thank you very much,
Michael Disbrow

Joseph Adams and Bertha Adams
I am Kathy Horton, from Westport, CT
I took a photo of their mutual gravestone and have tried to upload to both sites but it will not upload. The photo meets all the standards set. I have uploaded numerous other info and photos from same folder and computer with success. Maybe the site has a problem. I don't know. Have lots of info on them as well from I could email you the photo with permission to use it.
They are in a grave together: Joseph was born Aug 1, 1876 and died Aug 21, 1968. Bertha Irene Wakeman Adams was born May 7, 1876. She died Jan 9 1916.
This graveyard is at the Church I attend.
Please advise. Thanks. Kathy K. Horton

John Bingham
re Stephen Wakeman (1716-1760)
Didn't know whether you have access to this:
"Stephen Wakeman, b. 1716; bap. March 10, 1717; d. March 23, 1760. Graduated at Yale, 1738, B.A. He m. [1st] Jan. 11, 1734, Mary Adams, dau. of Stephen Adams, b. 1717-8; d. Aug. 16, 1741. Mr. Wakeman, next m.[2nd] Sarah Jesup, Jan. 11, 1744. She was b. 1727; d. 1805. She was dau. of Edward Jesup and Sarah Blackleach..."
Taken from the standard history, Robert P. Wakeman, *Wakeman Genealogy, 1630-1899* (Meriden, Conn.: Journal Pub. Co, 1900), pp. 166, 176-77. The entire book is easily available as a free download.

All best,

Talcott B Wakeman
I believe the "B" in Talcott's middle name is for "Banks"... Talcott Banks Wakeman, son of Banks Wakeman also buried in this cemetery.
